Camper Shell Options for Super Duty Tremor

RSI Smartcap Evo Sport, on my '23 Tremor. Impressed so far.
Bought it from Offroad Alliance, had a local shop build/install.
I'll get some better pics this weekend.
I trade in trucks often, now I can keep my Topper when the color changes

When Ford released the new 2023's they changed the tailgates similar to that of the F150's during the 2021 refresh. While Smartcap originally stated that the 2017-2022 Smartcap will fit the new 2023+ models, they've now decided to slightly change the design. So yes, technically the 2017-2022 Smartcaps will fit on the new trucks but Smartcap will be slightly changing the cap to specifically fit the 2023+ trucks better. No word or ETA on when the new 2023+ specific Smartcap will be available. We were just notified of this last week, FYI.

Love KO2's, I run them every time sizing makes sense. I was originally looking for a 12.50 when I stumbled upon this new size 13.50 for KO2, E rated too. Quiet, great in snow, good off road. Best of all they always balance well for me.

I ended up back to another smartcap after I parted ways with mine for a brief few months. Just couldn't do without. Ordered the Slimline 2 Front Runner roof and Topper roof racks for it this go around. Thanks @OffroadAlliance

Anyone planning on installing a camper shell? If so, what brand/model are you considering?

I've had both Leer and Snugtop on previous trucks. The Leer was better quality and cheaper that Snugtop. The latch on the Snugtop was garbage. Always popped up when hitting a little bump. Dealer wouldn't stand behind it. Get one with Yakima tracks on the roof. Makes it a lot more versatile. There are some more heavy duty ones these days that are meant for all the overlanding attachments, but they are a lot more expensive.

^^ SnugTop has cheapened up. I've had 3 over the last 20 years. The last one was pathetic, would not purchase another SnugTop.

Finally getting around to posting a pic. Installed the racks. Liking them so far. Had to get the front wind deflector also to cut the noise.

Another note on the smartcap. The lock covers from RSi are a life saver. No more snow, ice, dirt, Frozen locks, etc. Probably the best addition to these toppers. RSI replaced all of my locks originally as some bound up and wouldn't unlock. Came with the new covers and it's been flawless since.

Wow! That looks great! Those FrontRunner racks have been really popular. And glad to hear those lock covers are working well.

Seem like an interesting competitor to GFC and RSI, but not sure if anyone has any personal experience with them.

They don't list F250/350 as an option, but from speaking with them online, they've done at least a few of them...

Odd question for you; Do you go through the carwash with that? It looks maybe 6 " higher? I have a car wash membership and that could be a deal breaker for me...I think it would still fit...But just checking.

And for you guys with shells, do you go through the wash weekly? I use to wash by hand regularly but just don't want to keep up with it anymore..getting lazy.
