IT'S OFFICIAL, THE DATE FOR OUR MEET UP AT "SLOW RISE ON THE BRAZOS" WACO, TEXAS IS APRIL 26, 2025!

I realize there may be some who have conflicts and may not be able to juggle thier schedule. I try to plan these events with ample lead time to accommodate as many as possible.

I am excited to see so many new forum members planning to attend and once again some from out of state. Considering Waco is basically in the (middle) of the state, trekking from out of state is a fair distance.

We have a great venue right on the Brazos river, ample parking, craft and domestic beer and a diverse menu sure to please everyone .

This is a static meet up, primarily for attendees to get to know one another, talk about your trucks and mods you have done, or are planning. The entire family is welcome and encouraged to attend. I will arrive at 0900, venue opens at 1100. I will have reserved parking for our trucks.

Please post your intention to attend when you know so we can prepare name tags etc. We will also be discussing the "BIG BEND OVER" meet up in November. It's a 4 day, 3 night event at the Terlingua Ranch lodge in the Big Bend National Park.

For the newer folks to the forum, I went to my first three meet-ups with a VW Jetta. It was a great way to see what was possible and solidified my decision to go with the Tremor over the GMC AT4x HD w/AEV package. So even if you don't have a truck yet, don't let that deter you from showing up.

We also have just the opposite effect @piranhapattie who's spouse passed away and left his Tremor for her came to 2 meet ups with her 2020 Tremor after his passing, recently had to sell the Tremor and now has a Forunner and attended the BIG BEND meet up with the Forunner and had a blast as she always has and will also be in Waco.

There he is, red shirt, this was my first meet up. 28k later, I'm still adding stuff! We had 7 trucks and 1 Jetta. There wasn't a single duplicate color there.
