I can’t find my 2024 is from my original 20 2250 duty fits just fine.

I have the correct one for my '24 and frankly I think it should be an inch or so longer itself. The problem is that if you want the tailgate to open and close easily, you need to push the cap as far back as possible (and block it up a bit, and do some gasket surgery), and that leaves slightly too big of a gap between the cap and cab.

I think the other difference is that the angle of the cap front to back changed slightly - enough that they had to redesign their drop rack. I get why they wanted to angle the caps to better align with the outside bodywork, but man they would have made their lives so much easier if they'd just have made it square.

Would it be possible for you (or anyone really) to post a picture of the camera view of the bedcam with the smartcap installed? I'm considering a smartcap and that will make a difference for my use case.

Yea the camera is about useless… it’s nice for the bed lights though.

This company sells a kit to relocate the bed cam either to the back of the shell or inside it (or anywhere else for that matter).

The camera view for bedcam is worthless. Only see a reflection of the 3rd brake light. Not usable.

Yep, I wish these companies would offer an option that included the camera relocation. I have a GoFast and heck they won't even connect it into the system for the brake light even though our trucks have a dedicated high brake light wire at the back bumper to connect to.

We travel mostly full time and as such I rarely have time for truck projects (noted by the GMRS radio package still in the box 1.5 years later), but hopefully some day this winter I can get around to running the exteion and relocation to get it moved to the back of the GFC. To regain use of that camera. The GFC has a high brake light as I mentioned so I am hoping to just replace it with the one from the back of the cab and get all the same functions... just extended back 7'.

I like the Soft topper. I only use the topper for occasions so easy on and off is important, as well as storage. Quality seems good too.

Just put an ARE Z series on my 2022. Is it normal for them to sit closer to the bed side near the front of the truck compared to the back? Just noticed it the other day and thought I would ask prior to trying to shift over.
