2025 Dealer installed keypad

Hey Buddy best install I have seen. GReat location also. Is this a Wireless? I want to add on the my passenger side to let me girl in, I don't carry my key
Thanks! The keypad is wireless! Not sure if you can mount on passenger side? That would be a dealer question!

Whats the part number for the Wireless key pad? Cost to setup at dealer? I have a 2022 and want to see if I can add on to my passenger side. Thanks and placement is great.

The app is a data mine they want to force you to use so they can profit off your information. I like the keypad and they never should have gotten rid of it. May have gone with another brand if my 24 didn’t have it. I was actually looking at the 3.0 duramax before I bought a camper and needed the extra payload over a 1/2 ton.

Not sure it will work on a 22 You would have to ask a dealer that question! It comes with 25 superduty when added to order! It has to be programmed to vehicle!

Can't help with setup but I have an unopened keypad I'd let go. Came with my '25. I installed a wired keypad from a '24 and this one's not compatible with my wife's Explorer so no need for it anymore.

This is interesting. I would think that the app would use the same algorithm as the Fordpass app. which I have used remotely where I THOUGHT I didn't have a cell signal but now will have to check it out. I would think the communication might be Bluetooth or similar when you have your phone connected to the vehicle and close enough for the data transfer.

Have you actually experienced this when you were next to the truck? What a bummer if it doesn't work. :( Luckily, I have the keypad.
Looks like I should still be able to buy the keypad after the fact if needed.

Anyone add this to a tuck that already has the wired keypad active? I just installed the wired keypad on my 2025, but I’d love to have another keypad on the passenger side as usually I put my kids in and out on that side. I wonder if the truck can have two keypads active so I can have a keypad both sides (the drivers side wired passenger side wireless)

How hard is the wired one to install on a 25, and how much compared to the stick on?

Looks great there. Everytime my fiance and I use the keypad we actually say out loud -- WHY WOULD THEY GET RID OF THIS.

Glad to see you found a nice spot for it where it blends in. That black keypad on the door really wasnt a good visual idea @Ford...
I think users of the keypad are in the minority :)

I was surprised to see the wire harness for they keypad was still in the door. Maybe Ford will bring this back in 2026.
Agreed. Watched the same video last night and wondered if all 2025s have it or just some. Curious when the wiring goes away or the keypad comes back.

I don't use mine often but I do like having it. Comes in handy.

It was a nice and easy install and program in my 2025.
I just watched that video, and I don't know them but looks like they live not too far from me when they aren't RVing

To be honest, I hardly ever used my keypad until recent. Since all the talk about faraday pouches and the fact I have been using a faraday pouch for quite some time, instead of removing the key fob from the pouch outside, I use the pad for locking and unlocking now. I take the fob out when in the truck.

I'm not paranoid, just another ounce of prevention, and the keypad makes it simple. Also keeps the fob cleaner and prevents accidental pushing of the buttons. (Oh yeah, this has happened to me several times.) :(

I never really used my keypad only because I never bothered to set the codes. Once I did and realized how convenient it is, I would miss it enough to do what they did in that KYD video to replace it if I ever got a new truck!

Can't tell you how many times I've heard that...the keypad rocks. The 7/8 & 9/0 trick blows peoples minds, too :ROFLMAO:

A Platinum does not come standard with that? You have to request it? My app does not work due to changing phones, so having it on the door is key, but to have it not standard confuses me.

That one's just 5/6 after code, right? Haven't tried it yet on this new spaceship of a truck but I have a fleet of Fusions for one of my businesses and that pops the trunks. The guys love the keypads for getting into each others cars for parts and whatnot.
That's correct. 🍻

I paid $102 after shipping for both parts needed. (Not including the forscan cable and subscription)
Install and programming with forscan, and finding the master code to set my own all took about an hour.

Where did you order these parts from, my dealer is marking them up significantly.
