2025 Dealer installed keypad

It's super easy. The OBDLink EX is the cable I use. Make sure you have at least version 2.3.65 of Forscan for the 2025 trucks. When you first connect, you should get a prompt to update the database or something along those lines. If it still doesn't recognize your truck at that point, you may have to wait 24hrs and try again. I ended up having to wait. Once you're connected, go into the modules tab:

APIM plain text - enable "Keypad Hardware Input" - write changes
BCM plain text - enable "Door Keypad Code" - write changes

From here, you can go into the truck's settings on the main screen and configure your own code. You'll need the factory code mentioned above for this step.

Before you do anything in Forscan, I would highly recommend downloading your as-built data from Ford (you can get that later in the build process) as well as manually exporting the as-built data from each module in your truck. Took about 10 minutes to back everything up.

Hope that helps. Feel free to @ me or send a DM if you get stuck.
I'm about to do this myself, but can't get the key-codes? I used the two key trick, but no luck!

There's a security module under in the passanger kick panel. The Securicode should be printed on that module. See 11:50 minute mark of this video:
Code is blank on newer modules for some reason: (it’s still labeled, but the code itself is not printed on the sticker).

Ended up getting it to work using the key trick, after I added the key code options in forscan.

Though, I also have a dashcam that uses the OBD: it was installed when I was trying the two-key method initially: I’m not sure if that is the reason the code didn’t populate?

Either way— it’s installed and working as expected!

It definitely looks better there for sure.

I spent $95 to buy the wired keypad and B pillar, but otherwise I would have done what you did too.
Were you able to get the wired SecuriCode Keypad installed and working on your 2025 F-250? I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to get it down. The dealer in my home town said they were not able to get it to work.

Do you have a Forscan spread sheet for the 2025 super duty?

Yep, installed and working

@McE OK, finally got the truck and I am connected, on the Modules tab and there doesn't seem to be an option to edit or update anything? What am I missing?

Alright, I poked around in there as well (no longer connected) but didn't see an obvious way to update the value either, assume the one I highlighted below is "plain english"? Then do I click the button at the bottom to get in to the settings I can adjust?

Feel free to talk to me like I am 5 years old :)

Yep - make sure you’re connected to the truck first.

For those of you who are debating on the new keypad I think this location looks good!
Dealer wanted to put it under door handle ! They said that is where they were told by Ford to put it.
Didn't know I could specify, forgot it was a dealer installed accessory, thanks for the info!

Took delivery of my 2025 (April Build) and the connector for the traditional keypad is still there. Installed last night without incident.

Am curious to hear from someone who has done this mod if they were able to locate both holes that the plastic tabs on the factory keypad harness plug into. One was simple as it is located directly adjacent to the plug in the door. The other one I couldn't locate and just left unsecured.

Yep. I found it when I installed mine. No way to explain where it was, but if you plug the first one in then follow the harness up towards the keypad you can tell just how far from the first one where the second one needs to go. Thats how I did it anyway.

That being said, I had to use extra-long needle nose (like 16") and a very long radiator hose pick to force the plug into place and then push it. Many curse words were said, but I wasn't losing.

Well, now I know it's there. I was wondering if I used a different routing than factory and just missed it.

I'm sure I'll have the door panel off for some reason soon, so I'll give it another go. Was 96 degrees in direct sun and sweating my ass off when doing it, so was ready to be done.

Would rather be working on the truck in Massachusetts at this point. Just got back from a week of 58-62 degrees on the Caped and now back in the Houston heat.

I may have removed those clips to get it down the hole in the first place, and only reattached the one and don't expect I will have any issues.

Dealer convinced me that app basically renders the keypad obsolete, so I ordered without. Am I going to regret it?
What about when you don’t have cell signal?

Anybody have part numbers for the wired mod? My 25 is perfect other than the missing wired keypad.
