For those of you who are debating on the new keypad I think this location looks good!
Dealer wanted to put it under door handle ! They said that is where they were told by Ford to put it.

That looks good! Much better than the people that try to put it like the old one and the numbers are sideways, it's too thick, etc. The way yours is, it looks like it should. Blends in well, too.

While I do agree that installation looks real good, has anybody tried putting it inside the fuel door ?
Why woud you want it in there? I know that the inside of my fuel door is full of gunk and grime.

Maybe it's not like that for non-diesels?

Maybe it's only me since my PPF is 100% sonoran desert dust.

Dealer convinced me that app basically renders the keypad obsolete, so I ordered without. Am I going to regret it?
Keypad works out of cell range.

My dealer also told me the ‘25 keypad was hardwired (like the ‘24 keypad). Clearly that was wrong.

Definitely the best spot I’ve seen yet, OP.

Another member posted an install recently. Can't remember who but yours is definitely where it belongs, especially lighter colored vehicles:

The app is slow to connect to my '22 so I usually only use it when I'm not near the truck. The pad gets a ton of use when out camping and my phone and keys are stashed in the camper all week, or we're at the river on a gravel bar by the truck and I can lock everything, including my keys and phone, inside. Or just when I'm taking another car and realize I need something out of the truck.

So to confirm, this is just a stick-on keypad, that you eventually have to change batteries in correct? It’s not wired?

It's wireless and you stick it on wherever you want it! But I'm not 100% sure if the batteries are replaceable or not....???

I held the keypad in my truck at moved it to different spots. Then had the salesman hold it while I stood back and looked at it until in my mind it was right! Can’t say I like that placement!

This is by far the best position I've seen. In fact, I like it better than the factory location on my 24!

Looks great there. Everytime my fiance and I use the keypad we actually say out loud -- WHY WOULD THEY GET RID OF THIS.

Glad to see you found a nice spot for it where it blends in. That black keypad on the door really wasnt a good visual idea @Ford...
