Shot me a DM. I’ll see if I can helpHow are you all connecting with Forscan on the '25s? I'm still getting "unable to identify the vehicle" even on beta v2.4.17.

Yes it works.Does forscan work on the 25’s or not yet ?
Not one to call BS, but BS.@ZooDad - Did you ever figure out the correct settings to display accurate Distance To Empty on the 23+MY when upgrading to the 60 gal tank? I just ordered my tank yesterday and the shop that is going to install it offered to program the truck for $75 so the DTE is accurate. Obviously, they seem to know how to make the changes, so it seems this has been figured out. I do want my truck to display the correct DTE, but I do not want to pay $75 since I have Forscan and can do it myself if I know the correct settings.
motorcraftservice.com/asbuiltIs there a website where I can find AsBuilt code by VIN?
FYI - The shop is SDHQ in Gilbert Az. They are one of, if not the largest Diesel shops in Arizona and have a very good reputation. I know they have installed a lot of S&B tanks, so we will see if what they say is true about the programming.
If it will sit at Full / 720mi. for 180 miles then it starts moving then the range drops from 720 to zero normally, then that doesn’t seem terribly bad.Tank has not been installed yet, but I did confirm with Zoodad that the shop cannot program it accurately. They can only do what i can already do in forescan and that is change the tank size to 60 gallons. However, the coding for the DTE in the MY23+ vehicles is limited to 48 gallons, that is the highest number it will calculate from. The fuel gauge will work, but the distance to empty will not be 100 %accurate. It will be about 80% accurate.
I know you posted on another thread but to enable Global Close you do not need to access AsBuilt settings, which is a lot more complicated. You can just go to the Plain English settings for BdyCM (main brain), DDM (driver side doors), PDM (passenger side doors), and IPC (instrument cluster). All 4 need to be changed for the Global Close to work.So went to enable Global Close on my truck today, but I notice I don't have a BCM to access; I have the BdyCm-BCM, and a BCMC; I see that the BdyCm-BCM has the same address (726) as the BCM entries that should be editted. Still new to FORscan, so didn't want to randomly play around, so came here to ask first...
Is BdyCm-BCM and BCM the same thing, and it's just called two different things in the spreadsheet? Or am I potentially missing something in the truck//my (free) license for FORscan needs to be upgraded to reveal the BCM?
Thanks!
Absolutely true, but plain English has no way to create a backup before you make changesI know you posted on another thread but to enable Global Close you do not need to access AsBuilt settings, which is a lot more complicated. So how do you change it to 48? When they installed my 58 gallon tank, they calibrated the gauge to 48 gallons. So on empty I have another 10 gallons. Would be great to calibrate DTE to 48 gallons.Tank has not been installed yet, but I did confirm with Zoodad that the shop cannot program it accurately.
