2023+ ForScan Spreadsheet

2023+ Super Duty ForScan Spreadsheet

**Things that are not working as of 01-26-2024**
DTE Changes
Auto Shutdown disable

**Notes**
My Screen not returning to last screen is resolved in SSM 51679

I've been searching all day on how to get this SSM installed- my truck has connectivity. From what I read Ford pushed this OTA... Mine still does not go back to last screen on start up. I give up. Anyone know how to get this installed?

Now that I have a pass-through from the camper into the truck I have a new problem. The motion sensor alarm! I can only turn it off once via the exit prompt or by going into the vehicle settings on the large screen. The moment I unlock the truck the setting reverses and the sensors will be on the next time I lock the truck.

Is there any setting in Forscan that would allow me to disable the motion sensors permanently? If not, I will need to tape them down. How many are there and where exactly (if not obvious)?
Hi @Chris-DTA on my 2023 in the settings under alarm I have the option to disable the motion sensors. No need forscan for this one, at least for me.

Stupid question, I see there’s a 23+ spreadsheet with all the coding garble (I won’t mess with that) is there a list of what’s in plain English I need the dummy version lol

@Cux211
I am not aware of a plain English list.
But using the first two columns you can determine the name of the change and the module it is located in.

Don’t forget to download your factory AsBuilt from ford and backup your modules BEFORE any changes. Saving a profile (shouldn’t anyway) or configuration is not making a backup.

The Plain English menus can be quite large for the options one can select.
What's not known is what each function does or the full effect of the changes. That's the $45.00 question.

There's one that lists something like Fuel Pump Run On Door Open. So does that change make my 6.7L fuel pump run when I open the door?? Is that a better functional aspect compared to Key ON functioning?? Sounds nice to use when priming the 6.7L fuel system, but is it even a function that will operate in the 6.7L PCM?? Maybe it's only to be used in a gasser motor?? We would think that the menus are only for our specific truck, but I believe it's just the full list of options Ford uses across all model vehicles.

Trying to update my tank size with Forscan on my 2024 F350 Tremor. Updated tank size has no effect on DTE. The associated videos for this mod says to also change Fuel Level Source to IPC, but when you do so, the DTE says zero "0". Anyone had any success with updating the DTE?

Thanks

I've not changed those parameters myself, but there should be some good answers soon. I thought there was something in the 2023+ spreadsheet, strange this isn't noted unless it's under the Plain English menus. I'm in the P-Cola area so if you need anything just hit me up.

Cannot get the IPC module to take the write command to disable the damn seatbelt chime 🤬 it stops the service procedure and reverts back to the original as-built!!! Any suggestions?
FYI- There’s a procedure in the manual to remove seat belt chimes - very easy - just a matter of clicking and un clicking the seatbelts with in a certain time line. Every Ford truck I’ve owned Ive removed this annoying chime on the first day. If you can’t find it I can up load a snap shot of the procedure:)

Sorry to bother. Do you know how to turn off the a/c recirculation timer?

I have the most trouble with it during the winter, it turns off after 300 seconds once desired temp is reached. I would love to turn that function off and keep recirculation on all the time so I do not have to smell the vehicles around me.

DTE value is hard coded in the PCM firmware. No changes can be made at this time. Still working on it.

Yes that removes the chimes, but not the red warning box that pops up.

Let me look into it.

I appreciate you looking into it. . I’ll report back mañana.

Is this a thing for the 2020-2022 trucks as well?? That could be a nice change to make for all of us.

I believe so. Let me check

Just my luck. My license ran out two weeks ago and noticed on forscan.org there are new sanctions against Russia. I’m unable to get a new subscription right now. I tried to follow the Facebook link but I do not have a Facebook. so I cannot find the guy that is helping facilitate payments PayPal info

You were correct! It has been a little bit since I had to get a new license, it finally came back to me.

Back on topic

This is what populated in my HVAC module

Unfortunately my truck defaults back to motion sensors on after the truck is started again. I was hoping that setting them to off and turning off the ask me on exit part would default them off, but it doesn't. If someone finds a place to change the motion sensor to default off it would be great.

This post (and following posts) worked for my '22 model year, so it may still work for '23 and up. Plain English mode made it easy; no changing of hex values necessary. Worth a shot. Report back.
