What’s in your gun safe?

My latest build. SOLGW 6maxx with a Hux 7.62 Ventum. B5 PRS, Vortex Strikefire 1-8, American Defense 30mm mount. Built for predators and Hogs. I’ll probably try to take a doe with it this next year.

You fellas running the Ti direct thread or the heavier version with the R.U.M mount? Thinking this may be my next addition
I'd advise against the rum and stick to the tequila 🤪.

SIG P365, SIG P320, Ruger .380, Glock 47, Glock 43X and a Ruger 22.
I have a P320 and thinking of a P365 micro to carry. How does the pP365 compare to the P320? Considering an HK CC9 as well.

Do you mean p365 macro?

The p355 system is extremely modular and very customizable. I started with p365xl. Tried Wilson combat grip module which I liked. Then swapped for armory craft macro module in charcoal gray. Mag guts for extra capacity and tactical development baseplates.

Even the macro is very concealable in my Tenicor Centrum3. I have big hands and the p365xl shots and fits nice too. There’s time I think to flip back but it’s hard to give up roads in msg now that I have them. Lol

Thank you. I need to try both.

I like the 365XL. I put a Vortex red dot on it this past year.

It's nice and compact with a great capacity, if desired.

When I was a cop I carried a Glock 17, Sig 226. Moved to the VP9 when they were released.

I would carry a 365XL as a duty gun. Being a little smaller and lighter weight, it's not as easy to shoot as a full sized gun. Also have the 365 SAS, this replaced the j-frame I carried for oh so many years.

Speaking of J-frames... I only have two, and while both have "Hillary holes" they are interesting firearms and involve perhaps some minor historical factoids, such as the Model 60 as the first all-stainless-steel revolver manufactured (circa 1963?)

Mine is a 21st century Model 60-15, an all stainless, 3" J-Magnum frame five shot chambered in .357

I had to change the grip shape to shoot .357 comfortably from that little gun, and got lucky by choosing the Altamont "Batelur" in laminated walnut, engraved. These took the recoil impulse from the web of my thumb and put it into the center of my palm (in hindsight, this was) which was far more comfotable. So, I actually can use .357 in that small revolver but I prefer! .38 +P in it.

[A J-frame joke: I hear that guys who own the scandium frame Airweight .357 J-Magnum frames take them to the range to show owners of .500 S&W what real recoil feels like]

Then there's the nifty Model 351 PD - an 11 oz (unloaded) all-aluminum piece save for the alloy-shrouded stainless 1-7/8" barrel. It's a 7-shot .22 Magnum.

That one may be the brainchild of Bill Jordan who in the early 1960s remarked in his book "No Second Place Winner", Page 77:

"The one light loading that I would like to see would be the airweight model Cobras and Chief Specials chambered for the new RF Magnum load.

This is a wicked little cartridge and would add little to the weight of the light models... [it] would make a wonderful addition to the "hide out" field, particularly for officers working in hot countries where usually a coat is not worn during the hot summer months."

I went from a p320 to a p365 xmacro. I like the 365 much more. Perfect size in my opinion.
