Man after my own heart, well done sir!

I like the idea of silverware organizers for the cans.

One question, why all the bungee cords on the pistols and rifles?

Other than seeing only ONE 1911-pattern pistola
there are 2. 1x 45acp, 1x 10mm double stack

just so they stay in place if anything shakes the house

At times I only open my mouth to change feet. Just after I had posted that, I thought, "mebbe he's got a few 2011s in there, them there double-stack dealibobs". Hahaha.

I'm a caveman, and .45 Springfield 1911s are my deal. But when it comes to them whirlin'poppers! watch out. I've got a few, too, mostly of the .44 variety.

Big hand cannons (.460 S&W, .475 Linebaugh, .480 Ruger, 500 S&W, et al) are for the young bucks. I'll shoulder fire stuff like that (mainly .45-70) from short, light and handy lever carbines, several of which are revolver caliber too.

I do have Levers in 45-70, 44mag x2, 30-30, 357. 22. 2x 44 mag revolvers and 3x 357 revolvers to go with matching levers.
460 4.5" 5 shot S&W and thompson single shot SS center 20" rifle in 460 to go with it.
Do enjoy my 45acps, but Luv my 10mm more

Jeff Cooper liked 10mm too. It was he, I believe, that spearheaded any campaign to get it chambered in the 1911 pattern 40 years ago, and now look at it! It's a solid piece. I want one, too.

Tim Sundles of Buffalo Bore still thinks highly of .45 Auto as a solid, backwoods backup cartridge, loaded with hardcast slugs and as a +P (950-ish FPS for the 230 grain).

I load Skeeter's famous 7.5 grains Unique under a 250/255 gr.Keith LSWC in .44 Special brass for 950 fps in my single action revolvers... and since pressures remain well within reason for my Ruger flat top New Model Blackhawks, I've bumped it .2 grain propellant to 1000 fps (from 4-5/8") measured using a Labradar.

What's so good about that latter load is it's hefty recoil that is not painful. It's stout, but almost pleasurably so, especially when compared to OTC .44 Magnum from similar revolvers. Ouch. The difference is just 200 fps! with the Mag using a lighter slug.

It's been awhile since I've had access to my loading bench and I'm gettin' kinda itchy to restock my "heavy" .44 Special cartridges. I'm down to about 250 count. I have a small camp trailer project cluttering my garage, among other things.

I was organized once! Not nearly to your level, but I can get back to where I could walk in and uncover my single stage, open my ammo cabinet and smile.

When I land permanently in Utah is when I'll start acquiring some cans.

Just ordered one of these guys to drop on an existing lower and make into a truck gun.

FYI, if anybody is shopping for Sig, they are currently very easy to get 20% off from if you call their tech support number. Ask a question, ask if they can process order from while you're on the phone, ask for 20% if they don't offer it first. Free shipping, as well.

Looks good, probably a lot of fun. I have bought guns on less justification.

Trying not to dump on this, but as barrel length decreases, 5.56 turns into a very loud .22 long rifle. IMO a pistol caliber carbine is a better truck gun. For example , CZ Scorpion with a 1.5x ACOG on it. 30 round magazine is my truck/camper gun.

I'm betting it is 300AAC...they're actually pretty badass little uppers.

Full-auto MP5k (clone) is my PCC truck gun...would love a full-auto Scorp someday

It's a .300. I agree on the 5.56 comment. 11.5" is shortest I get to in that caliber.

If you are willing to spend the money on ammo, I think it's pretty easy to become a BO fan. LOTS of different loadings to play with and can be very quiet when suppressed.

This one should end up about 16.25" with stock folded, and 22.15" folded with suppressor. In other words, it should fit in the map pocket of the driver's door where my RDB currently lives, but with the option of leaving suppressor on it full time. I love that RDB, and it has never given me any issues once I loctited it together, but Kel-tec.

Pistol Caliber you say ?

Truck Gun , 44 Magnum
