Went in very smoothly and easily, thank you! Word to the wise, don’t be like me and rush it. I ALWAYS rush something on a project, in this case I forgot to put a heat shrink on before crimping electrical tape will have to suffice, it just irritates the hell out of me…

Now on to finishing up my BD XL 80 A-pillar and fog pocket kit installs.

Received mine and hopefully get it installed tomorrow. Just read the entire thread and I appreciate all the guinea pigs for version 1.0 that figured out the grounding and made suggestions to Corey for V2.

Installed! MY24. Pretty straight forward. Put the ground on firewall ground point. Had a couple crimps fail and to redo them with a new butt connector. I’m pretty sure I used to wrong setting on my crimping tool when that happened. Wrapped it back up that automotive fabric tape and secured with zip ties.

Got it installed just now. Quality is great, install fairly simple. I was able to ground it to the frame on the factory ground location by routing the wire around the backside where it wont interfere with the hydraulic piston for the hood and harness just lays on top of the grey fuse box.

I see you added 6 caps. I include 6 caps with the harness. I assume you didn't know that. I can remove the additional caps if you didn't want extras.

I installed mine as well but I went to the battery negative, I think I’ll move mine to the firewall as well, much cleaner install. Wrapped in cloth electrical tape to finish it off. Great quality product.
