Hey @Cblaxx19, just wanted to see how things are shaping out for this week?

i was just logging in here to update.

unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'm going to get my shipment until either Friday or Monday. the bad part of that is that i am out of town this weekend, get home Sunday night and turn around and fly out Monday morning for a last minute work trip(my real job). The timing couldn't have lined up any worse.. I was supposed to be gone this week but the trip was pushed a week.

that being said, I have everything I need to pack and ship the harnesses. So when i get back from my trip, the harnesses will be waiting for me and ill be packing next weekend and shipping on Monday(11/25).

I'm truly sorry for the delays. Timing just really got in the way for this.

If anyone doesn't want to wait, please feel free to reach out and I can cancel your order and refund your payment.

Update: I’ve received everything for the harnesses! I’m still on work travel but will be home tomorrow and start packing orders for shipment on Monday.

Busy packing harnesses while I watch football today.

ok, I dropped off I think 37 harnesses to UPS today. the remaining few orders I have to complete will likely ship Wednesday. I discovered as i was boxing yesterday that I didn't receive all of the Caps that I ordered. so those shipped out today and ill have them tomorrow and be able to finish packing the last few orders.

I’m still trying to figure out the international shipping thing. Some people seem to get hit with massive fees, and others don’t.

I don’t really have much control over it but I’m trying to figure out what really drives it.

I’m using ups worldwide saver currently as the service. It includes the brokerage fees for ups in the shipping cost. But I guess it doesn’t cover any tariffs or taxes based on province.

I thought there wasn’t supposed to be tarriffs between the Us and CA but I don’t really know at this point.

Honestly, your guess is as good as mine. Haha. It's just one of the things I take as a given when buying car parts. I've been charged as little as nadda on a $300 part for my Challenger (USPS -> CanadaPost, but given they're on strike here, that's a no-go), but also as much as $50 on a $75 part through the same method. UPS and Fedex seem to be consistently middle of the road, and DHL seems to rake you the most on duty fees.

One can always self declare too, but unless they're really trying to get one over on me, it's rarely worth the time to do it. :-(

i have officially shipped all outstanding orders placed prior to today! I dropped the balance off at UPS a little while ago so i expect they wont make progress until tomorrow but they are on the way.

I have about 30 harnesses left, so please feel free to share them with friends, family, facebook groups, etc.

i'm leaving to spend Christmas in the Northeast on 12/13, so i wont be able to ship anything ordered probably after 12/11.

I really appreciate all the support and especially the patience with the slight delay. I hope everyone enjoys the harnesses and as always, i welcome feedback.

Received mine today, looks stellar and robust. Can’t wait for a chance to install it so I’m ready for accessories.

One thing, probably mostly for looks, but maybe some functionality to ensure the wrap stays on, but with the added length of the negative terminal, I wonder would a small heat shrink band (or something similar) about halfway down be beneficial? (If only just to keep the wrap secured.)

Just my two nickels, since we don’t have cents up here anymore. Haha

I don’t have an install video but here are the written instructions. Install should be pretty straight forward.

Just to be sure : So the silver ends on the wires is a crimped solder connection. For us we strip down the wire, feed on the heat shrink clear of the working area, place the stripped wire inside the silver crimp, using heat (user preference) to melt the solder, then cover with the hear shrink. Correct??

No heating anymore. Switched out the solder shrinks to crimp connectors because people didn’t like the solder. Just crimp and apply the heat shrink.
