there were a few times where i might should have busted a bead but... it held.18lbs front and rear? You're a brave soul and on stock tires?? Consider yourself lucky but you are a gasser so you're not as heavy in the front as we are but I'm still shocked you didn't loose a soldier.
Yes, the stock inverter is complete garbage - I am so sick of it myself --- I am so ready to swap mine out precisely with Bronco's write-up. The Samlex but like you, I feel I have to prepare myself to the 9th degree due to all the wiring and tearing into cab itself. Not looking forward to this at all.
If you're pleased with your single compressor, wait until you get two in there.
Then wait until you see/use the portable dual-cylinder compressor (no tank) that can pump up four (4) 37s from 20# to 60# in twelve minutes. You will really wonder why you even have on-board air. Although, I am still considering your product if you ever put it out to the public for practically purposes.
Having a place to sleep outdoor is nice but I am so over 5th wheels, travel trailers, pretty much anything that you need to drag - I don't care if its overlanding or not. I rather pack a tent, pack light, inflate a mattress and call it a night. The next morning you box her up and no need to drag anything through the forest or trails. Need a shitter to sit while outdoors? Then stay home.
Don't get me wrong, having the comodity outdoors is soo nice but I've been there, done that.
I like having my rig and being able to get in her and head to the next hitching post and continue the journey.
Agreed. It works there but it does not work as well as it being mounted up high. There's only one spot for that and it's gotta be on top of your cab.
What antenna mount is that?
Its one i designed. What antenna mount is that?
So i ended up using paracord but only bc i couldnt find my webbing.Shout out to @Phil314 for making available a file for some headrest hooks. I'm printing them right now.
I hang a camelback off the back of my seat on trips and this will make it easier than rigging up some paracord.
I'll post a photo once installed
Those river crossing pics are awesome! I would love that!
Sounds like we need a meetup in the Ozarks.I wanna come out and wheel the mid west with you.
Love the idea. Let me think on it.@OmahaBravo I nominate you to be a Meetup Organizer and set up a Tremor Long Weekend meetup to run the OOAT!
