It’s like this guy is just rooting for late deliveries of all 22’s so he can be at peace with his decision to panic and cancel his 2022 order and find a 2021 on the lot! ?‍ ? No idea why someone that has already decided on a 2021 vs waiting out for a 2022 is so obsessed about when everyone will get their new 2022 ?

Well, most of us on this thread/forum/the Internet are just speculating and talking piss, and I speculate and talk piss for a living, so it just comes naturally. ?

And I don’t see any harm with bringing some some realism to a conversation that others are referencing when making new purchase decisions. If it helps one person make an informed decision while grating a few people who already made theirs it’s well worth it to me.

And I’ve got no regrets either way. I’ve gotten months of enjoyment out my truck and could give a shit about Sync4. I try not to interact with Ford’s shitty software anyway. ?

I don't know if I got lucky or if it's because I ordered from a high volume dealer but I ordered on 2 June and got a VIN and build week from my dealer on 4 June. I verified both by calling marketing.

There’s plenty of dealers telling people 6-8 months, as discussed at length in this thread https://www.fordtremor.com/threads/2022-order-update.4702/#post-88592, so you know as well as I do that my Q4 guesstimates are much more realistic than whatever wishful thinking you’re bringing to the table.

As of today my order placed on 4/28 didn't have a VIN or build date yet but my dealership said that it did get picked up for preview which means I should see a VIN and build date shortly. I don't know if that means in the next day or so or next Thursday on the normal scheduling day.

In any case, I’ll take that bet! Can never have enough hats. Post your order VIN or something so we can verify you didn’t just get something off a lot before your bird killing trip when you post pics. ?

I find it interesting that people attract certain routine attention, but aren't cognizant of the cause - like how the same people repeatedly jam the copier machine at work, but think it is the copier's fault.

I called today the Ford customer service. Ordered 4/20 with Ford confirmed email. Still no vin, no scheduled date.
Lady says it does show "order in processing"
