10th vin number is the year. They get recycled. 2022s are not here quite yet so the vin decode websites show 1992.

Josh, many dealers are doing fake retails. ford is requiring apurchase and salealong with the drivers license.
This one is just to send to ford it is not your price. your price is x-plan less all rebates.
we need to get this over soon as ford will cancel orders on the 14.

Still no updated for my order placed on 4/28.

This is what I ended up sending back to the dealer after the odd information request by “Ford” on orders that will otherwise be cancelled. ?

Just got off the phone with sales manager at my Ford dealership.

He too confirmed some of the fake retail orders last year during covid.

Ford is now requiring, deposit, signed contract, copy of DL's etc before ordering can be made .

I ordered 4/20, confirmed, he is expecting my order to get picked up by Ford next Thursday 6/17 for scheduled production.

Then he advised, once truck is built, there is still a fiasco right now trying to get trucks delivered to dealerships.

Trucking, transport, rail,,flight cargo are all extremely busy.

Crazy times...

Just got off the phone with Ford Marketing to check on my build date as I have already received my VIN - sounds like they have been getting calls consistently enough about build dates to stop giving them out. Was informed that anyone looking for this information needs to contact their respective dealer and find the information out that way.

The good news is they could confirm that a date has been given for mine - which I am guessing would be in July based on the build dates others have been receiving. I'll follow-up once I hear from my dealership.

I would be ecstatic if all I was waiting on was shipping. Mine was built on the scheduled day and then shipped to the speedway...

My dealer seemed quite surprised considering my late May order date, his response below lol.

"You must have friends at Ford because you are absolutely correct. The VIN is correct and they claim to be building it the week of 7/26. This is not a guarantee of any sort but what they are saying now. Congratulations! This is really exciting. I look forward to speaking with you soon!"
