That is just the schedule for the switch from 2021 model year to 2022 model year.

It’s most relevant to 2022 orders placed in March. This tells those buyers when production of 2022 model year trucks is planned to begin (it does not necessarily indicate when any trucks will be completed/delivered as all trucks are going to storage after initial assembly since March to the best of our collective knowledge.)

It’s anyone’s guess when an order placed this weekend may be started/completed/delivered.

Dealers have recently been estimating 26-30 weeks (6-7 months order-to-delivery) which seems like a mid-range, if not slightly conservative, guesstimate based on bull case / bear case scenarios that we’re speculating upon here.

thanks, we built up a 21 this weekend, then we were told it was going to be a 22 instead, for around $1,000 more. Now I guess I'll be lucky if I see it by Christmas

Yeah, sounds about right.

Good news is Ford has been issuing incentives for buyers to keep their orders open, so you may be able to offset the extra cost of a 2022 by the time you take delivery.

Other good news is you’re in NorCal. And this truck is a joy to use around here. Worth the wait.

I put my order in on 6/02 for a KR Tremor out here in the San Antonio area. Got a call from my salesman yesterday (6/15) telling me his fleet manager (who is out of the Dallas area) needs an ID for the order. Strange times we're living in. Now for the long wait!!!

From what I've read on the blueoval forums or possibly here, it seems dealers were placing retail orders for just regular stock.

Is there a way to find out if a dealer has done this with your information?? I have my name and address to a couple dealers while shopping around

I don't know if you can fin out. My understanding is the dealers were using sales people to retail order and then canceling it once built and then it went to dealer stock. I can confirm that my dealer called me last Saturday to get my DL to show Ford I am in fact the person that has the retail order.

Same here I ordered in March and my dealer called me Saturday for my email address which Ford requested by Monday. He already had a copy of my drivers license.

As @Grit Ranch said, I'm not sure you can find that out, all I would worry is if the person you ordered it from needed the information then just give it to them.

Probably not. My guess is that your name and/or address will populate in some sort of system reporting they operate out of. One would only think a persons name and address can only be used once.

I ordered my 22MY tremor on 5/19. Salesperson took my DL, my personal check for deposit and sign my build sheet. In less than 24hrs I received email from Ford Company stating that my factory order is confirmed.
I placed my deposit (and they scanned my license the day before) on a loaded 2022 F-350 Lariat Tremor on 6/3 and that evening I got the email from ford... "YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN CONFIRMED", nothing other than that...

Went by the dealer I order from and they asked if I wanted to sign a Ford purchase order or something like that, saying I agreed to the pricing and it would move my order priority up. He said Ford wants to make sure that there’s and actual person placing the order right now. He submitted one last week and it has a build date now. The price I signed was for the xplan pricing so we’ll see what happens now.
