I believe it based on trim... If the trim has the new pro-power in the back, it has to have the dual alternator and batteries. I don't remember if pro-power is trim based though.

You're right... looking at the order guide it has:

Pro Power Onboard – 2KW (req. Dual Battery (86M) on F-250/F￾350; will remove rear underseat storage on XLT and Lariat
SuperCab; incl. Dual Alternators 12V 250 Amp + 24V 150 Amp)

That's why it couldn't be added since Pro Power is standard on King Ranch and above. Mystery solved

I forgot to mention that my sales guy told me that they already have MY23s on their lot and they've got a ton of MY22s (and expecting more). He's guessing there's going to be some really good incentives coming out to get the 22s sold (manufacturer discounts, interest rate promos).

As far as i know, Kentucky hasnt released any 23 just yet. Obviously they will and soon, but they havent as not one photo of a lot 23 has been shared yet.

Stopped by my dealer yesterday to make a few changes to my order. After reading a few of the threads on 6.7 vs 7.3, I decided to switch to the 7.3... rationale in making the change is wanting to use the truck as a daily driver (short trips), will tow or doing a lot of long distance driving infrequently, diesel staying $1+ more per gallon and the added cost of the 6.7 won't pay for itself quickly enough through added mpg, prefer the lighter front end with the 7.3 for off-roading, and the easier/less expensive maintenance that comes with the 7.3.

In making the change, I wanted to keep the dual alternators and dual batteries. The dealer said they didn't see an option to add these. Did anyone with the 7.3 add this to their build? How does it show up on your order sheet?

I also asked about J2 options. My dealer thinks they'll be able to add them to orders in the next 2 - 3 weeks.

Depends on the trim. I ordered a 7.3L Lariat Tremor. No pro power, no ultimate. But I added the Warn winch which added the dual batteries and alternators.

Could use some two tone grey at the bottom to break up all the black...but looks pretty good to me...wheels are a big improvement over previous generation.

I'm not sure what this truck is. The orange decal shouldn't be on either SAP or BAP. The grill is a SAP.

I don't like the look of the wheels.

Something about it looks incomplete, but I don't know what it is. I also think the red badge paired with the orange Tremor decal makes it feel like one of them was an afterthought. In any case, I'm still as stoked as ever to get my hands on my truck to make it my own.

It’s the grille, the texture plastic ruins it. This is coming from someone who ordered a 23. I like the look quite a bit but think the chrome grille on the Lariat and the Platinum grille make the truck.

I agree that the texture plastic/chicken wire looks kinda cheap. But I like the thick frame on the SAP better than the standard grill. Lots of the F150 bubbas who didn't like their grills ended up throwing on the big FORD Raptor style grills, and I can only imagine after I get my 23 I'll find something that tickles my fancy.

Is the hood correct an optical illusion? Looks like it’s open or different then the hoods that match up with top of the LED lights

From that particular profile at least, the lines are more reminiscent of a reversion back to the original / early design of the SD rather then an evolution based off previous (22) model.

It very well could. I'd suspect they pulled it from the f150 to give to the SD. I imagine that there aren't a whole lot of f150 drivers out there that actually use it compared to a SD driver. Just my .02

This is so freaking annoying. I haven't heard of features being dropped from SD's, but since no one has gotten one yet and you can't see window stickers on built trucks, who knows. At least GM seems to retrofit missing features, while Ford just says, "screw you."
