For what it’s worth, I was a priority code 99 and have a window sticker. It also checked the boxes for almost all the constraints too. I am not sure I buy into the priority codes thing.

The recent commodity constraints update from 6/30 doesn't seem to have too much on it. Multi-contour seats and limited Platinum and Limited production in August. That may mean some good news tomorrow for people who have ordered the King Ranch trim.

I believe my truck is at the dealer as the tracker changed to "Final Preparation". Of course the sales guy cant bother to respond to my email or keep me up to date so who knows... Still dont have a trade in number.

So, the dealer laughed a bit on Monday (7/3) when the first thing I did was open the door and check the sticker = 4001lbs. Yes... I said YESSSSS. That's better than I had planned, and trust me, I planned!!! BTW: Truck is black/black/black appearance package, and she's beautiful (see pic of my '04F150 and now '23 F350, attached). I think the front-end looks great w/ BAP, but I do see how it can stand out in other trims.

Yes, they say buy the camper and order the truck, but when you know you want a Tremor, it's the other way around. My camper calcs (attached) don't consider Torqlift tie down gear and 30k Magnum ST hitch (if I decide I NEED to tow the boat = '21 Yamaha AR250). Yes, in theory, if you control weight, you can use the 5 campers I narrowed down and even go bigger (potentially), but hard to beat Lance 825/865 on a Tremor AND potentially tow (my 2c). Cirrus is still a 'maybe' - hard to beat the natural light.

Congrats on your new ride. Seeing your payload capacity gives me hope if and when my 23 Lariat Ultimate Tremor 7.3L is finally done same specs only with chrome package in Rapid Red.

4001 is impressive considering you have the moonroof and 5er prep too... Congrats!!

For reference, this is the payload of my F350 fully loaded lariet with the 6.7ho. Every option checked.. I was very happy to see this as payload was a concern for me (5th wheel).

Well I just got the Ford "Dear John" call from my salesman.

My 2023 won't be built however I can reorder on the 17th when the 2024 banks open and have priority according to my salesman which I have a high opinion of.

Not too disappointing as I didn't want a MY 23 at the end of 2023 and currently driving a '22 Plat with all the stuff so I'll wait until next year.

Salesman also said there is no price protection on the order yet so I'll have to see what the final price comes out to.

What was the priority code for your Platinum? Does it really make a difference?

Priority code can make a difference at the dealership level. If the dealer has allocation, the priority code and order date tells the system which order to pull first. This assumes that there are no commodity constraints that are preventing the order from being picked-up. Commodities can be constrained one week and not the next, so the system will pull orders that are not constrained by lowest priority code and then oldest order date. This is why newer orders and higher priority codes may get scheduled ahead of older orders / lower priority codes.

For example, I have ordered a Platinum on 10/29, and my dealer have me a priority code of 10... haven't gotten scheduled while many XL/XLT/Lariats with higher priority codes and ordered after me have.

The catch is that the deal is able to manually adjust which orders get picked-up, so they could in theory choose to have a new order or higher priority code get scheduled that week. This depends on how actively the dealer is managing their UnScheduled Order Bank (USOB). Priority code + date scheduling is a way for the dealer to not have to manage each week what gets scheduled.
