2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

I think i had included percentages in an earlier post... only about 1 out of 5 pending orders with the HO engine will likely get built

That makes me feel better about my order in a way... Majority of people who are going tremors are getting the HO, I didn't. We already know that most of the HO orders aren't getting built now. To me, I'd say that increases my odds a little bit. The power running boards and Platinum trim on the other hand... 🤞

If we have a 23 KR ordered with the HO diesel engine, any chance it gets built in 23?
Same... hoping....
so far I still have a VIN and a july 31 build date for a KR HO tremor.
The dealer we use is the largest in southeast for super duties and I was priority 10 - he did mention a few weeks ago I was 1 of 4 KR /Platinum/limited tremors that have actually been scheduled for the dealership

You would not be missing much as the so called increased horsepower is not noticeable daily driving or towing. I am saying this coming from a 22 6.7. My next order will be a non ho for sure to save some $$.
I agree that the difference will be not noticeable by most people and hardly worth $100 per horsepower, but for some odd reason Ford disallowed the standard diesel on the Tremor. So if one wants a Tremor diesel, then they have to buy and wait for the linited availability HO.

What I got out of the Long McArthur video. If the dealer does not already have a retail allocation the dealer can't place an order in Ford's system. If the dealer is out of retail allocations, they could still possibly order through their stock allocations. Not all allocations placed in the system may be built.

38,991 Super Duty orders still in the order bank
1,600 orders at priority 99

As of this week constraints for July 24th build week:
No onyx interiors available
King Ranch, Platinum, Limited are exhausted availability/overcapacity
With in capacity for Lariat
Over capacity for Tremor
Over capacity for standard 6.7 with availability of 29%
Over capacity for H0 6.7, availability of 10% with 48% demand (McArthur recommends switching to standard 6.7)
With in capacity for 7.3
McArthur recommends dropping the tonneau cover, bed spray liner, running boards if optioned. Especially drop the pro trailer backup assist which is way over capacity (72% demand with only 20% available).
So if this has been explained before I apologize. If I have a vin and a build date does that mean that I’m guaranteed my truck?

Hello, just giving an update on my plat HO non tremor. I got a vin on 4/20, and my build date was pushed back numerous times yet I never even saw one on my portal. On 6/21 my portal updated to show scheduled build date of 7/15, and then in production. I have a window sticker. According to my coworker, only 4 of the 15 trucks we ordered for folks have vins.

So vin is the key it sounds like?!

After a long awited process, I finally took delivery of my truck today. From what I understood I went from priority 99 to a Ford manager approved priority above 10, I believe it was a 2, once job 2 opened (long story how and why) . Every constraint that I could have had is on it and it was built, but I count myself fortunate due to the priority. It is a blast to drive!

For reference, ordered 10/29, scheduled 5/1, in production 5/2, built 5/25, shipped 6/14, tracked by rail car arriving at final rail car destination 6/22, and Ford released it to dealer on 6/28.

Congrats on your new ride love the color

Has anyone received their 2023MY SD yet? I read Ford started delivering to customers late May. If so, how long from the date you ordered?

Have you looked at posts above yours? Like literally 2 posts above yours😂

yes, tens if not hundred of thousands of SDs have been delivered since late March.

Yeah, go to threads and look for ones that mention orders/ship dates. There are many pages of people waiting and finally many that have delivered. I picked up my Tremor 7.3 Lariat Ultimate SAP yesterday. Largely depends upon what you ordered.
