2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

Just had my build date moved UP from August 24 to July 31. First time that's happened for me.
Same happened to me on Friday last week when I checked on the chat line. Confirmed with Dealer a few hours later. I received the email from Ford last night confirming the new production date. Not counting on anything until it is sitting in my driveway though.

Sounds like the pro trailer backup assist is a major constraint as well as the HO engine, according to Long McArthur. Unfortunately, the higher trims come standard with the PTBA feature. Yay.

On a side note, I put in a complaint with customer service a few weeks back. Someone from the higher ups emailed me today. I'm suppose to call her tomorrow morning. Highly doubtful that anything will actually come from it but we shall see.
Definitely interested to hear what they do for you when you speak to them so I know if I should also do the same.

its good to know that my24 order bank opens on July 17th. I can make better decision if I'll take my 23 order with wrong running board or just cancel it and order 24.
You might be able to sell the offroad running boards which will help soften the blow of getting either the AMP or OEM power boards.

I am hoping someone here preffered an off road but got the power running board so we can just swap.:D

@lxcrsm that topic has come up before... I thought there was a concern regarding the factory wire harness if the truck wasn't originally built with the folding steps. I'll see if I can find it.

Read through this thread... Consensus is that not everything is in place but there is a link (post #5) to someone who has summarized what is involved. You need the boards, module, brackets, wiring, and some misc bits:

I'm not expecting much... Basically said that dealing with orders is generally not in her normal daily activities but since people have been sending emails to the executive office, she now has access to see the Vehicle Visibility site and is the liaison for the exec's. I asked about expediting my order but hasn't gotten back to me about it. She said she'd have to reach out to her contacts and let me know what/if anything will/could be done.
So..yeah. not thinking much will come from it.

Thanks for the update. Look forward to seeing what they come back to you with.

Mine says shipped 6/20 it has no check mark tho... wonder how long it will take
Took about a week for me. the early on estimate delivery bracket was pretty accurate.

How long do you think it will take to get to Cedar Rapids Iowa? Plant is not that far
Depending if train or convoy. It’s usually the wait to load rather than transit that takes time. I think a week.

My 23 Tremor in Azure Gray with BAP came home today. I am very excited to be in such a nice truck. And it actually fits in the garage!

Thanks for all of the support, tips, and info through the build and delivery process.

You got my truck! LOL
Looks good. If you don't mind my asking, what are your options and when did you order? I'm thinking I'm going to end up in a '24 at this point.

Thanks man! I’m liking the truck a lot and the color is growing on me. It is definitely different depending on the lighting. Very blue and bright in the sun and definitely gray at night. I prefer the gray look.

Here’s the build:
Lariat
Tremor
BAP
Twin Panel Moonroof
Rubber mats
Upfitter switches
Power boards
Cab lights

I kept it simple to avoid some of the known delays.

The schedule:

Good for you. I wasn't as smart. I've got pretty much everything that is holding up production right now. Max-recline, scales, fender liners, 6.7 HO, power boards, etc. I ordered on May 1st so based on your timeline I would have already gotten a "scheduled" notification if I'd dropped some stuff.

Good luck with the process. My dealer was great to strategize with along the way on how, when, and what of the build process. I followed the input and got a truck fairly quickly compared to many. I’m sure I got lucky too.
