It’s in poor taste, but after the young lady was killed by her boyfriend a year or two ago up in the Tetons, my wife and I always joke that we will take the other one to the Tetons if they don’t straighten up. My bags may be packed when I get in.

Hahahahaha. Yes that was truly a heart breaking story, but my wife and I share similar dark humor.

Her mother called me one time because she wasn’t answering and she couldn’t see her on the phone tracking app (she was in the Adirondacks with no cell service).

I calmly told her of course you haven’t heard from her she’s in the chest freezer. Hahaha. She didn’t think it was nearly as funny as I did for some reason.

I was remodeling our loft a couple of years ago and was walking a roll of carpet backwards down the stairs. Mis-counted the steps to the landing and ended up completely rupturing my patellar tendon. Ended up needing the fire department to strap me to a backboard and carry me down the rest of the stairs to an ambulance. Running joke in the family (mine and my wife's) as well as with all our close friends is that she pushed me down the stairs (sadly no life insurance payday for her that day).

I drew a mule deer tag in Region H Wyoming in September, very close to the Tetons. Horse stepped on me in the dark and broke my fibula. Wife said, Tetons struck again.

I've been using it ever since I was a kid. When we'd listen to Creep by STP, John Bobbitt would be mentioned. He lives fifteen minutes from me. Heard he's a nice guy and not a dick
