FWIW I paid $66,588 for mine. Before tax, title and tags of course. Obviously mine is the big block gasser, but it is the SAP, Premium. My perfect truck and ordered as such.
That's more than I paid for my Ultimate Lariat, I did have the xplan discount and 3K PCO. BAP 7.3 with the winch, and fancy white paint, sunroof and folding running boards. I guess I am the pheasant now...:ROFLMAO:

lol guess you are!!!!

I had a Xplan discount on mine too, MSRP on mine was $70,390. No PCO or other discounts and mines a 23 so…. We know how that all went.

Two things convinced me to finally pull the trigger on a Tremor in March of 2023:

1. The return of the XLT trim / Tremor package. I don't like leather. It's cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Others may disagree but cloth seems to warm up faster in the winter and doesn't give you second degree burns on contact in the summer.

2. The MY23 built-in steps on the rear bumper and in front of the rear wheel well. 'bout time Ford added these low-tech conveniences to keep up with GMC.

Cost difference between Lariat and XLT was a smaller factor, but solidified the decision to buy when my build came in less than I expected to pay for a MY21/22 Lariat.

Agreed!!! It’s shocking the number of people who hate on the steps…. It literally makes me laugh. Must be people who use their truck to bring the kids to soccer practice not do real truck shit. I mean what kind of man with a truck doesn’t need to get up on the side of the truck bed at one point or another?

Answer the kind with a cover over the bed that keeps his golf clubs dry…. Probably has a tramp stamp on the tailgate too.

I don’t hate on them but i do render them fucking useless and i’m 6’4”. They are a poorly executed concept that’s all, especially on a tremor that sits higher up.

The number of times i stepped on a built in step since i own the truck, maybe 2-3 total. The number of times i step on a pull out steps to get the stuff out of my Diamondback bin - 2-3 times daily! That pull out step was perfect on a 22 and still is perfect on a 23! The build in steps is useless POS.

True on all points. Not great ergonomic design from the factory.

Oh no, you hurt my kid’s feelings with that one, that BedRug bed is his 30 minutes of daily playtime😉
All insults to @Alpoba are hearby retracted. Anyone who has a complete Zombie killing kit in the back of his truck is the baddest guy I know.

You sir are a national treasure…

All us Phesants bow down to your awesomeness. You are the chosen one to lead this loyal army of pheasants…

The rest of you soccer ball carrying, tramp stamp having, little princes…. We know none of you use those big expensive trucks for anything but swinging by the local Starbucks to check on your college graduate kids who still lives in your basements. Hahahaha.

EXCUSE ME!!!!!!

I believe in my very FIRST post I describe it as a “prissy little Tesla” thank you very much!!!!!

Stuck home with Covid and mindlessly scrolling, trying to find the bottom of the Interwebs, I saw threads on here for the “premium” Tremors but not one for us simple folk.

Now don’t get me wrong those other trim levels are fine for the asphalt cowboys/ cowgirls but we all know the XLT is the real American man’s truck.

No multi contour massaging seats, no two tone paint jobs, no 6ft wide tramp stamp across entire backend. Just a real American made, honest to goodness truck. Made to do truck shit.

Now I’m fully prepared to be roasted as a poor, and a pheasant for not having seats that massage my buttocks but when I ordered my truck the XLT was the one I wanted, not the one I settled for.

Anyone else love their XLT’s for the rough and ready, sweat on your brow, dirt under your fingernails trucks they are? Or did you buy it because that $100k limited cost more than your 20 year old double wide?

So no one thinks I’m being too serious here I drive a prissy little Tesla daily, and while I am a Union Mechanic; I hate to get my hands dirty as much as the rest of you Platinum owners. 😉
I won't think you're a pheasant. Not until, or at least, I see your tail feather length or see you under glass with a nice orange sauce.

This is far and away my favorite thread on here now , I do feel for the few who have swung in and been a bit too serious but I’m loving the constant banter. I’m suprised no Mods have stopped by yet. They probably don’t want anything to do with us. Bunch of Degens (us not them).

Tramper Under Glass…. I like it.

How about now???

I think they're just happy with all the poors being in one easy to observe location.
That’s probably it, they’re probably elitists like the rest of you!
