What have you 3D printed?

@PilotGore's funnels are absolutely amazing. The fit and finish is exceptional as it makes filling with the 5qt jugs a breeze!

Agreed, I love the funnel I purchased from @PilotGore. Fit, finish & the fact he stands behind it was worth the cost. It even fits the big jugs!

Check your support overhang setting. My funnels print without any internal supports. My overhang setting is at 60 deg on my X1C.
I think prusa's by default are 55. Support should only be needed for the neck of the funnel. Will make it print a lot faster.
I just hit slice now and walked away. I grabbed the funnel and pulled it off the plate and the supports stayed to the plate and it's smooth inside. I only had to remove the ones around the tread. It was a nice supprise and printed super nice, but this old printer always does a stellar job, just slow. Going to pull the trigger on the Bambu H2D with all the options, reviews are pretty good so far, but most are probably sponsored right now.

My X1C has been fantastic. I've been watching this device. the laser capability is what really attracts me. That and the dual nozzle is pretty snazzy.

Anybody ever resized one of these for our filters? When I get time I might try to get one drawn to fit the Moble 1 210A filter

I'm working on two designs for this same concept. One will be parametric so you can simply enter the measurement of the filter flats and the model will adjust accordingly. The other is a simple filter funnel that will require the filter to be loose enough to finish by hand.

The X1C is amazing, I do want the laser, but if you have ever been around one they are dirty so I wonder how they are going to combat that. I was originally getting the Prusa XL with 5 heads since I was a Prusa fan boy. Bambo is just on another level right now. Waited for the Core One and the X1C is still better. Oh well, use to be a big Dodge fan back in the day, things change.

I havent been around a laser at all so... good to know they arent exactly clean. Makes sense though. Burning stuff off typically isnt something you'd prolly wanna do at gma's kitchen table.

My first fully functional prototype for my deflator kit box is complete! The snap latch is a bit tight but very functional and secure. Only future changes are dressing up: hardware pockets for the latches, adding more fillets, latch adjustments, logo for the top. I have a carbon fiber bed but am having difficulty with bed adhesion, I will try hairspray next. This design uses M3 socket head screws for the back hinge and to hold the latches on, and the latches snap into place to open/shut. The spare batteries and deflators are angled to allow for easy gripping and removal. I suppose I could add a gasket as well, not sure if that is necessary as this is intended to store in the center console.

I have also printed some socket trays and a magnetic can holder. The can holder is just a prototype, I think the production one will have a logo or different design on it. I think the magnets should be strong enough for a 16oz can. This one only has 1 magnet but I will double up so it can stick to thinner steel too. I saw one at Harbor Freight and thought it was cool.

Somebody should 3D print and sell intake resonator delete kits. I built my own out of legitimate junk and plumbing parts.

Small chunk of 4" FRE pipe and a 4" to 3" rubber coupler from a hardware store.

Made the truck about 10% more throaty (barely noticible to be honest), which is super nice considering how quiet these trucks are.

On it! Usually remove all the helmholz resonators on the intake but haven't done it on this truck yet.

I'd be interested in buying simply from the stand point of cleaning up the engine bay.
I got enough on my plate to take anything else on but If i can help, lemme know.

I found a Motojack rack HD on Craigslist and I'm pretty excited to put it to use. I 3d printed a 2.5 inch to 2 inch hitch reducing adapter for it. 2 mins in Solidworks and 2 hrs later I have it in hand, ready to go. It's solid PETG and supported me sitting on the jack no problem.

Just kidding! I mean I really did print it, but only for test fitting purposes. I'm trying to determine if I will be able to open the tailgate with the rack installed in the down position and how low it goes for me to most easily put on the bike. Maybe I can use it as a step to get into the bed area. I'm probably going to buy a 2.5 to 2in lowering adapter (made from steel).

On the recent gen Hemis, we used to just cut the box out leaving a little stub and use a rubber cap.

While it’s not something I printed… I used something printed by someone here to change my oil my oil for first time and it made it very simple. Love the screw in funnel! Thanks again! We have a great forum with very generous member’s.

I also have some headrest hooks I need to install and see how to best use ( thinking that utilization for kids backpacks for school drop off line will be first use).
