What have you 3D printed?

Not sure if this guy is on here, but his 23+ in cab extended fuse cover is amazing. It lets you fit a fuse tap and run it out the side.

Anyone willing to scan the drivers side and passenger vent bezels? I don't have a 3D printer but my friend does and will let me print on his machine.

The Banks iDash Pro A Pillar mount is 3D Printed, just installed it yesterday!

I could potentially try it, not sure how good it would come out though. What are you trying to accomplish?

Printed a prototype version of my PB Blaster holder. It is for service trucks for the inside of the door, or just general shop organization. It has 4 internal neodymium magnets. It held up well on my storage cabinet but for a bouncing around truck I think it might need additional holding strength and maybe even a strap to secure the cans, not sure.

I'm trying to make my own flag emblems like the 23+ have on the sides of the vents
Oh gotcha, yeah a scanner might work well for that. I only have access to a 24 though so not sure how I would get the data. I have a Peel 3d scanner at work and it honestly is a PITA. I used it when designing my door pocket dumpster but honestly guessing and prototyping may have been just as quick. Part of the issue may be the old laptop I'm running it on and that I'm still learning the software.
If you're feeling like some wings and blue cheese come on out to Buffalo and I'll scan your dash.

Happy to say that I picked up a used Smartcap and got my Krazy Beaver mounted up finally. I 3D printed some brackets that secure to the molle panels and allow the bolting on of a quick fist. I did the prototypes in PETG and they held up driving around for a week or two, and I did the final versions in PA612-CF. Don't think these are going to break, they are very stout.

I started to work on a Milwaukee Packout mount for the molle panel but not sure if I want to take it all the way, as the Packout bin would be upside down over your head when the gullwing door is open. Maybe I will mount it somewhere else or just keep under the backseat. I hope to develop more molle mount items in the future.

I also 3D printed an airless basketball! It really works and does bounce, although only about 85-90% as good as a normal basketball. But you can definitely dribble and shoot hoops with it. I did a tennis ball as well that bounces about as good as a normal one; I keep it at my desk so I can bounce it during some of the longer Teams meetings.

Lone Rock Concepts water pump adapter for a 6gallon Igloo container.
No clue if it seals (i'd guess it doesnt). I only plan to use this adapter when using the pump.

Wasnt able to finish my Starlink case/mount but still needed something for Big Bend. whipped this up over lunch yesterday. Gonna see how it works out running it over the dash.

Does anyone have a 3d scanner and be willing to scan something for me?

I only know, or think i know, of one person on here who has a scanner but I dont know if theyd want me publicizing that.

I will say that there is a guy based in Missouri that has a mobile 3d scan business. I used him to get started, before I was able to access OEM CAD files. Mobile 3d Scan Van, i think?

FYI - this failed faster than a perforated boat.

Tensile stresses exceeded layer adhesion. Used ASA-CF which i know has diminished LA due to the CF but its what i was printing with at the time.
Honestly its not necessary to make the Ram mount. What i'm going to do instead is making a solid part that allows me to just bolt the mount directly to my BulletProof tray mount.
This will move the limfac to the tray itself since more forces will get transferred to it. We'll see how it works out. Gonna test it in PROD.

Don't want to out anyone that isn't wanting that.

If anyone has one and wants to send me a direct message, your secret is safe with me.

I've had success with printed RAM-style mounts by using a through-bolt down the center, but working an injection molded or metal mount into the design is sometimes the way to go. Not surprised at all that the ASA-CF delammed. Changing the print orientation so the layers run the length of the ball can have a significant impact on its functional strength due to anisotropy.

What are you after? You can accomplish quite a bit with good old LiDAR on a newer iPhone if you don't need sub-millimeter accuracy.
