Twin Arb Compressor Mount Behind The Rear Seat For 2017+ Superdutys

I pun it there (ish) on my '22, but the tape didn't hold for long. The Loctite tape I have on it now has been solid all summer.

Nice leaking batteries, you must have a '22 like me!

Similar to you, my provided tape failed almost immediately and switching to VHB it's held for 6 months.

Yeah. Lol. Had em replaced shortly thereafter. When the warranty is up I'll go AGM.

Yep, truck is only a year old. Both battery’s leaking. So I just replaced them both with X2 AGM.

So, started my install.

Question, what is preferred method to run the wiring?
1) Old instructions. Under carpet to plastic plate under storage box.
2) New instructions. Pull interior trim for access to a spot to drill.

Install is going OK except I missed the part about sliding the bracket under the rear most strip of carpet. So, I trimmed that bit of carpet off. Oops. No-one will know but me. :p
Having installed several of these kits by now, I prefer going behind the interior trim piece. It is a bit faster, less room for error and you are not hiding an electrical connection under the carpet. When I made the change over I also change the wiring harness accordingly. If the instructions you received say go under the rear seat then I would highly recommend doing so, as the provided wiring harness may be to short.

OK, my instructions say pull the interior trim. Right now, I am dealing with depinning the harness. That is a PITA.

Thanks Bronco! As soon as I can tear into things I'll see what I'm working with and report back!
Did you dive into this and figure out what happened? Could help another member if they run into this same issue.

No, haven't had a chance yet. Likely will be a few more weeks before I do. I will definitely report back though once I have an update though.

What did you replace the truck with?

2023 Raptor 37. Have a gen 1 and just love the Raptor. F250 was beast of a truck but was too much for what I needed.

Not a bad move, congrats! I’d keep the compressor and put it in the Raptor!

Thanks again for the orders. We have everything on our website in stock. Please reach out to me if you have any questions along the way.

We are a few days away from releasing this kit for the 2021-present F-150's / Raptors.

Shout out to Troy for customer service. One of 1/4” push lock fittings was leaking and when I tightened it, it sheared. Troy sent me a pack of 5 new fittings via Amazon.

System is working great now.

I had one that leaked and easily sheared too.
Got a bag of replacements cheap from a US seller on Amazon.

I know it is a bit off topic, however I'm willing to bet that a lot of people of this forum also have a garage/shop to tinker in. Here is a new product I just released.

The LIFT LIZARD, 2 post lift pads slides onto the arm extensions of the lift, swiveling up to 25° clockwise or 25° counterclockwise and 360° rotation. The pre-fitted rubber neoprene pads keep surfaces safe from scratches and provide a slip free safe surface.
