Tremors Towing Things

I finally got to pull the camper back home after having warranty work done over the winter. I used the smart hitch WD setup to get my hitch dialed in and that worked perfectly. Saved me at least 30 min of measuring and adjusting in the dealers parking lot. The camper is a toy hauler so unloaded it’s fairly tongue heavy. The smart hitch scales showed 1470lbs of tongue weight and I restored about 50% load back to the front end from weight distribution according to the scales. Towed beautifully and effortlessly for the hour trip home. Didn’t get any good pics but I snapped a quick one before heading home.

Spend $85,000 on a superduty truck.

Don’t tow anything.

Be a man.

Post pictures of your tremors towing what you got them to tow. When mine comes I’ll post mine ;)

Weekend I-35 run from Salado, TX to Hidden Cove RV park in The Colony, TX. After towing this Airstream previously with an SUV, and an F-150 baby Powerstroke, this is towing the right way.

Thank god I got the 6.7 HO and onboard scales!! Saved me a DOT violation today! 6.7 handled the load well, 37’s were a non issue, may add bags to help with squat.. 🤷🏼‍♂️ 🤪🤣😂

Picked up the new drag truck build. Rust free from down south. Something usually only found in dreams of someone from the northeast. Want to give @AZsurveyor a huge shout out for his help in this truck search that took months. We dont know each other, had never previously communicated, but he was willing to go look at a potential truck. That deal didn't end up working out but his help and willingness to help a stranger was second to none. There's some really good people out there and on this forum. Oh and the truck is absolutely killing it towing this rig home.

Thanks for sharing this @TremorKR you'll have to keep us updated as the drag truck project progresses. Appreciate you efforts in helping out @AZsurveyor !!

I've probably said this before, but the two-tone is awesome!

Sweet rigs @TremorKR and you certainly picked up a steal versus the one here in Arizona. She's a beauty!

Good luck on your project drag!

Finally got 1k miles on the truck and took it out for its first tow today. Trailer is a Jayco 31MB at 12k lbs and 2400 lbs of pin weight and the truck still sits 1 inch higher on the rear axle over the front. The truck tows like a freight train. Couldn’t be happier!
