Show me your Starlink mounts (or ones you’ve seen)

Anyone tried a decent extendable pole mount? Sometimes 10-15 ft clears a lot of obstructions. I have multiple use cases for this, both mobile and home use. I’ll have to figure out both vehicle and static mounting options, but I need to source the extendable pole first.

On a side note, I also have the veritas case and it seems very tough, although heavy.

Am able to print this in two pieces instead of four. Also, going to add a polycarb lid to this as well.

So Starlink actually provides a step file for their mini (along with the others) under the Resources section.

Wham bam... prototype

Plan is to add a handle and a poly carb lid that is fastened into heat-set nut inserts. I'll add the necessary features for this once fitment is confirmed.
Still deciding where to place mounting points for the seasuckers i'm going to use to mount this thing.

So nice when manufacturers provide CAD data. I don't always have time to reverse engineer or 3D scan everything

Prototype case is complete. Just waiting on the polycarb lid and the seasuckers to come in and it'll be ready for testing on the Big Bend trip

Just a heads up for anyone that has purchased a StarLink and it's been sitting a while..

“Starlink is warning customers with inactive dishes that they need to update their software by November 17th or risk bricking their device. This critical software update applies to Starlink's that haven't been powered on or updated in 2025.

The most recent known firmware versions for Starlink range from late 2025, such as versions like 2025.10.20.mr62921 for the router and 2025.10.20.cr62921 for the dish. If your Starlink has been inactive since late January 2024, you will need to update to a version no older than 2024.12.26 by November 17, 2025, or the dish will become inoperable.”

This is a good reminder for me, to ensure I have the latest update by doing it from home.

Having to update it while on the road is very inconvenient although it usually updates rather quickly.

I'll get out and power it to a standard 120V to make sure she's happy.

If yours been inactive for 20 months, I don't see the point of even having one.

You can choose to update or not? mine seems like it just does it everytime i power it up when i havent used it for a few days.
