Crap. I ordered from the list above. I have the pro trailer backup assist. Anyone know if it will work? Also, I ordered the boostedgraygoose harness. I guess if all this works I still need the other harness? Ty.
I’m in the same boat , have everything in the cart just have to find out which wheel will work with the pro trailer backup assist . This forum is awesome I’m sure someone has conquered this dilemma and will offer advice soon .
@Modman posted in posts #146 and #150 the parts applicable to the MY 22’s. They do differ slightly from a list posted earlier that dealt with previous MYs. As @Modman made a successful swap, I’m going with his posted parts numbers. And he does have a reputation for accuracy….
. I don’t recall seeing anything that suggests the pro trailer assist is affected by the steering wheel swap, and your current steering wheel buttons should swap straight across to the Raptor wheel.
Pro trailer backup assist is not a issue. If you have adaptive steering than that is a issue. The adaptive steering has extra components in the wheel that don’t work with the normal Raptor wheels. Not sure if the Raptor got the adaptive steering option since in the past those with adaptive steering couldn’t do the Raptor steering wheel mod. Check your window sticker I believe adaptive steering was a additional option even on the higher trim trucks. As for the other parts (not the wheel) listed by @Modman, they are to add the heated function to a 2022 if you didn’t originally have a heated wheel. I believe that the 2020 and 2021 are a little different to add heat if you don’t already have it. As for the wheels are the same for all years with different options like heat no heat or red or orange stripe and switch configuration. Switch configuration doesn’t matter much since you need to swap them with your stock ones to keep the same button layout. The Raptor right hand buttons have different function labels vs a Superduty.
I might be wrong, but I thought it didn't matter so long as you transferred your buttons w adaptive control over to the new wheel?
You are correct on controls, there are other options to watch though. Please see edit not all the Raptor wheels have heated option. Sorry got posted early taking a phone call.
That makes sense since the heating element is imbedded within the wheel.
Thank you. I have a 22 tremor without heated steering wheel. I do not have adaptive cruise control. I ordered each of the listed components from the Ford dealership. And the goose harness. Will that work? I will not be adding adaptive cruise control. If so I guess I would need the other harness?

Yep, then you need a heated harness made and, obviously, some form of heated wheel...
I am looking at an old post, I am assuming your truck does not have adaptive cruise? Based on the controls of your new Raptor steering wheel?
