Thanks lol, the next one be after this is going to be a class A. This one fits the bill for us right now perfectly, 2 queen beds, 1 king bed, 1.5 baths and a toy hauler for the fun stuff with a ramp deck. Perfect for me, the wife, our 2 kids, and our 3 dogs.

For those interested in doing this Fairway Ford has a great deal on the KL3Z-3600-DA heated wheel right now. Did the install last night and wish I had done it sooner like the leather better on the Raptor wheel than my stock Lariat wheel. Thanks to the @BoostedGreyGooseDesigns harness was a super fast upgrade to add the paddle shifters. A bonus with the KL3Z-3600-DA wheel is it came with the adaptive cruise switch which I plan on adding in the future but running original switches for now.

I'm really hoping this is still a possibility to do with the MY23. I'm wondering if we'd have to get the 23 Raptor wheel to keep with the same generation so it's got the same features/buttons on the wheel.

I’m accumulating parts to do the steering wheel swap, including adding the parts to make the heating function work (cause yah I forgot to order the heated steering wheel with my build). It appears that several Forscan changes are needed to activate the heated part of the wheel, and I’ve looked through most every Forscan thread I can find, but haven’t found a list of locations and changes I need to make to do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thx.

Here are the other parts you need for a '22... I ordered from Fairway Ford. Everything except the Marker Lamp - that's the rear DRW light not associated with the heated wheel:

You will also need a wire harness. Ryan Broderick is the guy who made the harness and found the solution for the 22MY trucks (the implementation is a bit different than the 20-21MY trucks). Everything looks 100% OEM:

I did mine a few weeks back. The horn doesnt work now. Popped off the airbag to see if I had forgotten a plug somewhere. Everything is connected, cut the wire connected to the red plug on the left side was bent and creased in half. I have a feeling that;s the horn wire and that it’s been severed inside. Gonna have to open it up and see if I can splice it back together. Ugh… I am a chicken everytime I take that dang airbag out!

When I was getting my airbag certification back in the 90's when airbags really started being put in cars standard, it was its own certification for master tech back then, one of the requirements was to be in the car while they manually set off the airbag. They were a lot different back then and could break your leg if you accidentally set it off while you were upside-down in the floorboard working under the dash...lol

The boostedgreygoose harness is just for the paddle shifters, additional wiring is required for adding the heated wheel part. I don’t know if you need both the boosted harness and Broderick harnesses for adding the heated wheel and paddle shifters to a 22 that didn’t already have the heated wheel option.

Yes. You could probably have Ryan make both and possibly integrate them... Ask him before you make the purchase and let him know what your final goal is.

Do they offer adaptive steering on a Raptor? Those wheels are usually in that price range or more...
