When I first climbed under the truck, I noticed how flimsy the skid plates were. I thought to myself, 'Damn, Ford managed to reinforce the skid plate with the fuel tank.'

About 28 years ago I joined a fantasy baseball league with some relatives and friends that is still going strong today. At the time I couldn't think of a good team name, so my cousin suggested Run Line which is a baseball bet when you take a team to win by 1 1/2 runs. Although I don't gamble I liked the sound of the name and have since used it over the years.

I've noticed that new posts in the Off Topic forum no longer propagate to the active topics list on the home page due to some recent events, but due to the low probability for drama with this topic, perhaps our intrepid admin would consider moving it to either the Introductions forum or the general Ford Tremor Talk forum.

It’s actually the name of my truck. A kid I mentor”loose terms” he’s 25; wanted to see what it was like to buy a vehicle from a dealer. I brought him along for the experience. So while I’m setting up the ford app thing, it asks for a name. I said I don’t know maybe Beauty II? My previous 2016 was named Black Beauty. The kid says “ no you need something that fits you and the truck better like Black Knight “. I grew up watching Batman and liked the idea. I spend the better part of my waking hours in the PM, so it kinda fits. Great thread idea️

Yes, I think that’s a good idea. I was just bringing it up because it (and the Vehicle Names thread) weren’t popping up on the main page/active topics page. Both threads are meant to encourage the new people to engage with everyone and to give us a little bit of background information about them. How else would a new member be able to find the threads without them being easily accessible to the least experienced users?, was my question/argument about my comment the other day. I should have elaborated more about it and it would have made more sense for everyone.

That's a great engine! You have a 23LSV or a 25LSV? Looks great in your avatar. I am a fan of green and our first Wakesetter was all black with green flake where yours is black. It was sick, but the CFO wasn't a fan. She prefers blue.
