Meanings behind Monikers (Screen-names)

I live off the York River near the mouth of he Chesapeake Bay. When I was younger, I had a Sea Doo, and the watermen would refer to anyone on a Jet Ski as a River Gnat. I liked the name and owned it. Grew up, got rid of the Sea Doo, bought a boat and named it River Gnat. Then told the wife afterwards that I needed a bigger truck to tow it when necessary. 2024 F250 Tremor, hence why I joined this forum, Thought it only appropriate to use the name.

I grew up in the warm, sunny southwest and while I wasn't completely clueless about what was needed and expected to deal with freezing temperatures and snowy winters when I moved up over twenty years ago to the small town in Montana where my mom was born, there was a learning curve, let's say. 😅

Buying, rehabbing, renting, maintaining rental properties and their surrounds, including seasonal vacation rentals is a good portion of what I do so prepping/shutting down buildings and machinery to avoid plumbing/freezing/water damage, etc. ( and get other equipment/vehicles ready to go for winter ) sets off a mad scramble for me that lasts a few weeks as the seasons change and frankly the process deserves Yakity Sax as it's official soundtrack.

Getting everything winterized before disaster can strike is always a relief so...

I named my property in MS Morning Wood Farms (MWF)
My initials precede the MWF.
I’m a urologist with a focus on ED treatments, hence the name. :)

Any over lifted truck moving forward we shall tag you with please help treat the LPS :ROFLMAO:

Mine is a mixture of my college mascot (Texas Tech) and my military occupational specialty in the Marine Corps.

Well, it’s a Truck with a Camper…

The camper happens to be a Supertramp Camper….

Into the Wild, Alexander Supertramp is one of my absolute favorite stories/ movies…

And a Tramper is defined as “ having no fixed abode, connection, or destination” which don’t get me wrong. I’m far from homeless. But living Troutbum lifestyle, or more simply Living in a van, down by the river has always been a dream…. It’s funny how hard we work to have enough money to live like we have nothing isn’t it?

Truck is appropriately badged as such.
