Meanings behind Monikers (Screen-names)

I joined a boating forum years ago as a surf-stoked teenager and “surfer” was already taken so “SirFer” was born. Figured it’s easier to keep track of usernames if I just keep using the same one. I guess it makes me easy to find across probably 30 different boating, fishing, surfing, hunting, and automotive forums.

Got it from a buddy after getting in a wreck in the parking lot in high school. He drove by and said oh Magoo you’ve done it again and it stuck.

I guess I will chime in, mine was given to me about 30 years ago by my friends and basketball teammates. My name is Jarrod of which was shortened to Rod and being in the era of Snoop Dogg, the second D was added. The 187 is for "murdering" teams from long range. As stupid as it is, it has stuck around ever since.

super - Jeremy McGrath (SUPERmac)

fro_daddy - Jeff Emig (Jeffro, FRO DADDY)

some of my favorite MXers in the 90s, I used that as my first email address in high school computer class and have used it in 90% of message boards I'm on. Fun fact - first one I joined was LS1TECH.com in '04.

Sweet! I go back farther than that... Danny "Magoo" Chandler. I'll never forget watching the "Superbikers" on TV when I was a youngin.

DTA = DT Adventure = @dtadventure4x4

DTA is based on my company/business name, but DT stands for dirt trail and reflects that I am a) an ultra runner running mostly on dirt trails as wells as b) dirt trail are for off-roading. Originally, DT stood for digital transformation as I work in IT. Confused now? lol

I'll play.....dzrtdzl = desert diesel. I own an 06 Dodge 2500 Cummins that does some things out in the desert that diesel trucks were never intended to do. Super duty platform comes close, but Rams are better hitting the whoops and jumps. But, I love my Tremor for everything else it does.

Simply the name of our company we founded

I guess my avatar gives it away, but if not..... I own my 1970 Plymouth GTX for the last 40 years. I bought it in 1983 and was the first car I ever bought. I was 20 years old and stationed in Norfolk Virginia and that is where I found it listed for sale in one of those old auto trader books at 7-eleven.

My name is Optimus Prime. We are Autonomous Robotic Organisms from the planet Cybertron.
