I happened to buy a new iPhone recently and that resolved almost all issues for me. (Only problem I have is Siri disconnecting when using wireless CarPlay, but works wired.)
It seems very likely to me that there’s a CarPlay compatibility bug Ford introduced in a 3.3 build that is persisting in all future builds.
I’m hoping it can be solved for on the Apple side.
This is awesome info, thanks for sharing. I'll give it a try today.I read and tried everyone’s fixes to no avail. Here is what did work for me. I tested out turning my Bluetooth off when plugged into CarPlay. It worked so I made a shortcut automation when plugged into CarPlay turn Bluetooth off and and another to turn it back on when unplugging. It’s possible the low volume is due to signal cancellation from 2 different sources? Hope this helps.

I am having the same issue going in tomorrow for service appt for itI have my Tremor for about 9 weeks now and running Bluetooth or CarPlay callers state my microphone level is extremely low almost unintelligible. Does anyone have these issues? It’s to a point where I can’t make calls through the sync system Bluetooth or CarPlay. I tried master reset and it doesn’t make a difference.
