I shot some emails off on Monday. Today I got a phone call from Ford. 10 minutes after I hung up, boom, email with VIN
Hey everyone, I just checked my order status, and it now says in production. So far I got the order confirmation email, as well as the scheduling email. I did not get a production email and my window sticker is not available. Seems a little odd. Is this typical?

Yes and no. That person would get slammed with emails from just this site alone.
I did my research and it paid off. I don’t want to abuse the contact I made. I saw a few other guys post that they emailed ford and had good results. I put the time in and it worked for me as well.

He will not have the PM sensor. They stopped putting them in on May 10. If you were built between April 25 and May 10, you have the sensor but the wrong program in the computer, those builds are now on hold waiting on the correct program.
Ahh gotcha that explains it better so those trucks that didn’t get the sensor and shipped out are in that “stop sale” status we’ve heard about. Mine never shipped it’s sitting in some holding lot at the plant since 5/4
Another thing though if it’s just wrong programming that should be like a 5 minute ecm flash I don’t get what the big deal is it’s just an ecm flash unless there’s something majorly screwed up with the factory tuning but then again there’s tons of 22 diesels on the road so still pretty confusing
And July 15th is the date the effected trucks can get reprogrammed and released.
Sounds like we will find out tomorrow. I am in the same boat as you.
