I did see a couple over on BOF that were scheduled for week of 5

Yes you should be price protected. Get with your dealer and if they dont make it right get with Ford marketing.

FYI, no *regular* scheduling next week per the BOF post.

COVP orders may or may not be scheduled.

Pricing is based on when it is ordered, so get your dealer to get this handled for you. Price increases are happening at all mfg.'s for cars, RV's, boats, moto's, side x sides etc. Sucks but happening to all of us across the spectrum of products - Supply chain issues and inflation on costs coupled with solid demand is really putting the squeeze on things!

Good news it you are getting close to getting a great truck - that is a full build!

That will be between you and your dealer - but no price locks from Ford - pricing is based on when it is built, not when you order it.
This isn't factual, the memos/emails from ford have been posted over and over in this thread, ford will honor the invoice at the time of order. The window sticker will reflect the current published MSRP at the time of build but ford will reimburse the dealer the difference in invoice.

EDIT TO ADD: I believer you were likely saying ford can't force your dealer to honor a deal or any pricing, in that case I completely agree, that part is between the customer and the dealer if a dealer dodges the agreement between those two parties. But between the dealer and ford the order is price protected. Where folks run into problems is signing on deals generically at MSRP (or invoice) or in a percentage reference to those generic terms. Versus signing a contract for a specific dollar amount. If you agreed to "MSRP" and the msrp increased the dealer can screw you and pocket the increased cost to you but not between them and ford. If you agreed to the MSRP price of say $63000 specifically and now the msrp for that configuration is $66000 you can push back on the dealer to honor the exact terms of your agreement. Ford won't get in the middle other than confirming there is invoice price protect with reimbursement from the time of order.

Incorrect. Ford offers price protection from initial signed order date. Dealer just needs to file a claim for it.
Thx for correction (pods8 & morepower02) - fixed the post.

What is CVOP?
Customer Order Verification Program:

SUMMARY
Dealers will be able to utilize the existing COVP website on https://cni.dealerconnection.com to register retail orders for all vehicle lines (excluding Mach-E, Bronco and specialty units). Verified orders will receive priority scheduling and will receive incremental allocation. Vehicles that are not verified will still be scheduled but will schedule within the dealer’s earned allocation.
Note that while this program utilizes the same process as the Retail Order Incentive, only previously communicated vehicle lines are eligible for the incentive. Please check SmartVINCENT for incentive eligibility.

ELIGIBLE VEHICLE LINES
All vehicle lines (excluding Mach-E, Bronco and specialty units) are eligible for verification and incremental allocation through the COVP process.
• Mustang (Non GT500 or Mach 1)
• EcoSport
• Escape
• Edge
• Bronco Sport
• Explorer
• Expedition
• Transit
• Transit Connect
• Ranger
• F150
• Super Duty

Further clarification from dealer on blueovalforums: The COVP program has absolutely nothing to do with vehicles in inventory and is NOT Model Year specific. The program applies to unscheduled retail orders, allows Ford to verify that retail orders are legitimate upon reviewing the required documentation... and helps Ford to expedite the scheduling of retail orders and rewards customers and Dealers alike by scheduling these retail orders with incremental allocation!
