FYI 2022 Updated Production Schedule

I didn't notice the symmetry in that date until just now. Cool! My wife would appreciate that, drives her crazy when things are out of balance... ⚖️
I’m the same way. Lol.

The Spreadsheet I see so many refer to is really a waste of time. I just use the Order Number and the VIN # at the Ford Site and it updates real time.
Not a waste at all; it shows you 350+ other trucks and their progress as well as yours. By checking the spreadsheet i can see my 'sent to plant' date is up next and the previous group of 'sent to plant' trucks are now released and many shipped.

Talked to salesman yesterday. Sales Mgr. and salesman just talked about my truck earlier in the week and went in to delete bed liner and tonneau cover to try to get my truck built. They said that someone at Ford ( maybe regional rep) moved it to a priority 2 and some other codes changed on the printout that sales manager gets everyday. They thought is was " in preview" for sheduling and did not make any changes, but instead ordered an identical build without those 2 items. Sales Mgr. wasn't there for me to grill on what changed on his printout. We will see what happens next but starting to get a little hope anyway.
it dosent make any sense to order a truck the way you want it then turn around and delete things off of it to get the truck faster.

Initially I agree with you, but the only 2 items deleted were the spray in bed liner and tri fold tonneau cover. Both of which I can get locally and with as good or better warranty as Ford for same price.

When supply and demand are out of equilibrium and a seller adjusts its price along the demand curve to correspond with a price that maximizes profit, to avoid leaving surplus profit on the table, this is constitute as 'greedy'? Should everything be sold at 'fair' prices?? Prices which are attainable for all? What are you thoughts when Ford or the dealer give substantial discounts. Is this is out of the charitableness in their heart? Or are they reversing course down the back down the demand curve to find the equilibrium?

This isn't a knock on you, it's just the most recent blasting of dealers who charge over MSRP. If any dealer is selling these trucks sitting on its lots at MSRP, it's an absolute fool's errand. Frankly, i'm surprised it's less than $100k for a Platinum Tremor. That dealer is undercharging. I've seen two near my house that are Lariats going for over $100k. They don't last long at that price and the buyer isn't asking for your pity or sympathy.

Very well said, a lot of people don’t understand supply and demand curves. Which makes sense because it’s only really taught in college.

YeHaaw!
Finally got the “In Production” notice on the Ford tracker along with WS. Build date according to dealer is 12-1-21 and on to the next level of waiting. March order date feels like years ago!
Really hoping for a Big Bright Silver back for Christmas!

I know plenty of people with lots of abbreviations in their signature that are complete dumbasses. Americans have short term memories which is why the market is out of whack. Never in history have prices /stocks gone straight up forever.. we are in a bubble just waiting for a catalyst to make it pop.
I dont have a problem with dealers adding an ADM they are aren't twisting peoples are to buy.

Same argument, different thread today.

The irony is that right there in Iowa is Granger Ford who probably has 300x more customer orders than this shitty ass dealer in Fort Dodge. Granger is probably making an absolute killing in volume sales right now-and their customers are happy to save 25K on tremor plattys over greedy dealers like these who are too lazy or just plain incompetent to adapt the volume based retail sales orders model where both dealer and customer wins.

And now back to the regular dude where is my truck programming of this thread😂

Congrats! Getting close...

I had a flight booked to KC this Friday to get my truck that should have long ago been delivered (original build date of 10/12, ordered 6/25). Obviously, it's still sitting around with a thumb up it's tailpipe somewhere between Kentucky and KC (for the last two weeks), so I had to reschedule the flight at an additional cost of $80. This better be the greatest thing on wheels.

Lots of assumptions about a Ford dealer you have never seen or visited. Do you even know where Fort Dodge IA is without looking on a map?

I’ve passed through Fort Dodge many times in my travels.

And are you not the guy who plain out stated that BMW owners are “the worst”? Kinda funny you in particular talking about making assumptions.

Why would anyone feel the need to defend price gouging? It’s killing the dealership model and part of the reason for the COVP program. Pretty sure Ford prefers to dictate the price on their products.

Who is defending “price gouging” and what is the definition of price gouging anywhoo?

It’s called capitalism when a seller puts a price on a item & somebody is willing to pay that price

I’m not making any assumptions, just asking questions is all, since you have passed thru Ft Dodge many times shall I now assume you have stopped in at the dealer, or should I ask if you have stopped in at that Ford dealer

So does that mean it was built on the 21st and actually be delivered on the 7th. The vvr said it will be built the 26th. I was originally scheduled for 16 November. I don’t know who to trust

You and I are different. For build and ship purposes I was only worried about my build. I guess being in manufacturing/supply chain my whole working career makes me a little jaded lol. ;)
