I just called Ford marketing ((800) 334-4375) and I got my VIN and build date starting 19 July!!!!!!! Heck yes!! All you need is your order number and dealer number. Good luck yall!

Congrats, I just called and my build is 7/26 one week behind you. when did you order?
 
I think the issue is they are building these trucks whether or not they have the chips to complete the build. Many of the 2021 orders have been ‘built’ without the chips in place and are now waiting in a lot for them.

I say this not to be a debby downer, but to help set proper expectations for what the info *may* actually mean. It may not be the same for the 2022’s, but just be cognizant of that possibility.

I ordered 3/26

and I know that the chip shortage is still a real thing and while I’m not wild about my truck potentially sitting in a lot, it’s at least progress and I have a VIN so I’m excited regardless. Not naive hahaha but excited nonetheless.

That’s probably my situation too. I’m probably not calling today. I was going to until I read your post.

I called and got the same reply...told me vin should be availbe within 7-14 days with a confirmed order date of 4/20/21
 
I should note, that I had to call twice. The first person said he could not provide a VIN. i called back a few minutes later & got a nice lady named Carol. She provided the VIN, but said there was nothing posted for the build date. My order included the "Sport" package which was not included on the 21s, so, my guess is this might have something to do with my build date not being available.
 
So I called today - because I wanted to find out what I already knew…? No VIN for my 4/28 order date yet.

However - I had to go through two reps before I heard that. Both said the DEALER has to give you the VIN and they are not supposed to. ??

That’s news to me.
 
Ordered 4/19. No VIN or production information yet.
