FYI 2022 Updated Production Schedule

Forgive my for asking if this has already been asked in this thread, but will Ford email my VIN automatically once it's scheduled?

IDK for sure but everything I've read on other sites I take it that they will with the new order update system that is in place. I guess we will see.

So from my understanding if you got a confirmation email then you should get an auto email. Additionally, if you can see your order in for your Ford account then you can find your vin there. If your lucky like me (sarcasm) and have neither of those then you can call the Ford Marketing number that Vermonster posted last week. All they need is your order number and your dealer ID number both of which are on your order sheet. The final option I know of is you can call your dealer and they can look it up for you. Ideally they would pull this routinely but I doubt this happens at most and pending your relationship with your dealer this could probably be your last option. I would keep checking though for others to post some jubilation here in the coming weeks and when they have their VINs then I would seriously start checking for yours. Hope this helps!

I'm still undecided on the carpet delete option. My order was entered may 11th with a priority 11 code. Wondering how much more time I have to consider this option before the order generates a VIN

I did the delete. I have a family of 5. All different ages - but for me it was about simple cleaning. My wife has horses and i love hunting and hiking...but I love the idea of keeping things cleaned up. Plus I live in vermont where is snows and the crews use salt. I also am on a dirt road….so you can see why I choose it. I also went with weather tech mats.

So I hear when you get a vin - that’s about it on changes. I hear you on questions, though. I go back and forth with exterior colors. If there was not such a lag I probably wouldn’t even question it. Lol

My thinking: why not get the carpet delete? Carpet is more maintenance and more likely to be permanently damaged than vinyl.

Worth noting that the vinyl still has insulation under it, both for temperature and noise, so there isn't a benefit to carpet there.

I have the carpet. And really wish I didn't. The delete is a no brainer option when ordering IMO.

Not sure why I am so hesitant? My current truck has all weather mats so I never see the carpet unless I am vacumming it. The delete would be nice since I have two yellow labs that shed like crazy.

Seems like a must have if you’ve got dogs. Zero benefit to having permanent carpet.

Honestly - it’s a luxury to not have the carpet. People assume it’s a “strippo” option, but it’s not. Work trucks have it figured out!! It’s smooooooth and easy to clean. It polishes up fast when you detail the interior. If it didn’t have the padding it would suck teh ballz….but it does.
