There’s a white one just showed up at our local dealer too yesterday. It’s not on their site so I’m not sure if it’s sold already It might be a platinum or king ranch. I just saw it as I drove by yesterday. Can find out more if someone is interested

If you really need a truck and Mark up price isn’t a problem to you. Lithia Ford and Lincoln of Boise, Idaho had a few 2021MY SD Tremor. They’ve also a bunch of 2021MY SD FX4.

It’s been almost inconceivable since mid-March that any 2022’s would be delivered in 2021. December is pretty much the best case scenario based on all of the information we’ve had at our disposal since Jan/Feb.
Nothing has substantively changed to improve those odds as yet.
So unless you’re a gambling man, yes, you should be looking at other options if you *need* a truck this Summer.
The good news is dealers are still receiving 2021 inventory, slowly. The other good news is some dealers aren’t price gouging to the tune of $10k over MSRP. The other good news is prices are very unlikely to go down any time soon (probably ever) so any premium you might pay is relatively recoverable.
So if you stay on top of it, you’ll be able to find a ‘21 at a reasonable price.
The bad news is it’s almost June and you’re just figuring out what was knowable in March. So you’ve got some catching up to do unless you are able to outbid the other Tremor hunters out there.

Negative. I called and asked about my VIN this afternoon and was told I will not see one for a couple of weeks to a month. My order was 4/28.
Where and what number did you use to check on vin#? I ordered 3/19

You can call Ford marketing at 800-334-4375. Have your order number and sales number handy. They will look it up for you. ??
Ford just recently sent a letter to suppliers telling them that they plan to surge with production in the 2nd half of the year and if suppliers had any bottlenecks to let them know...
so... it's in the mail that they are going to try to "make up time" as soon as they get their hands on the semiconductors they need. Of course, "surging" is going to expose shortfalls in other commodities is my prediction. ?

No, I ordered mine on 4/23/21 I'm sure we'll hear something soon.
You might not have a VIN yet because retail orders don't necessarily get scheduled first. Give it some time I know everybody is impatient but it's the best thing to do right now.

I have an order confirmation for my order placed May 10th but I do not see an order number. Is that normal?
Until you have a VIN #, your truck is not in production as i understand it.
