Forscan for 2022

Only other idea I had would be trying to update your forscan application if there is a newer version.

Beat me to it! I just updated to 2.3.44 a few days ago... I think it has been out for a week or so. Worth a try, if nothing else to cross it off the list.

I don't think I have tried anything in sccm either.

If your trying to adjust a plain english value let's give it a go in the as built and see if that helps. If you are already in as built are you sure you are changing the correct address? Some things have moved for 22 (assuming you have a 22)

yea i thought it could be the release... ( iwas running .43). but updated to .44 yesterday and still same error... im just trying to change the blinker count... it allows me to edit the value and then click 'write' but once it gets to about 70% its 'stops the module' and then backs me out to the log screen with that entry ...

Just checked my notes. I did change that. It should be 724-01-01. Changed mine from 002C-4628-C7 to 002C-4E28-CF. That increases it to 7.

I think I typed it wrong, either in my notes or when I read my notes because yes it should be CF. Either way, that will self correct.

If that is your as Built, change it to 0040 4E28 E4. That should change it to 7 blinks.

FYI, if you are looking for something other then 7. Last 2 digits are checksum and will be different for each of the below but as previously stated, forscan will auto correct this value.

724-01-01 xxxx xYxx xx:

0 = Triple flash disabled
4 = Two flashes
6 = Default Triple flash operation
7 = Turn signal stays on until canceled
8 = Four flashes
A = Five flashes
C = Six flashes
E = Seven flashes

I'm out of ideas here, sorry. Last ditch effort, did you reset your profile after you updated the forscan revision?

@updateob21 What about any DTCs? Do you have any present that have not been cleared? That may be preventing you from updating that particular module.

i had some bcm codes from swapping to morimoto xb hybrids.... high beam errors (but malfunction lamp is off for them). i cleared them and tried to write to the sccm and still no luck.... im out of ideas myself lol

Hello forscan experts. I have tried multiple times to use forscan on my truck. I have a company computer, windows 10. I tried to use forescan, I got the error shown, I seen where other have said to run as an admin, tried that, same error, any suggestion? Beginning to think I got a knock off Ford... BTW, I have the OBD linkex wired module from amazon as recommended by others.

I see you have 2.3.41 beta installed. I would recommend removing it completely and downloading the most recent version which I think is 2.3.44. See if that works and report back please...

Email forscan - their contact info is on their website. I found their customer service to be very helpful and quick to reply.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will down load the latest version. Part of my problem is I am using a company lap top, completely locked out of everything, IT guy had to give admin rights for me to even down load. He’s not around all of the time. I have an Apple computer, I may try to go that route because of the admin rights stuff.., I will go back through their forum and try to use the Apple. Thanks!
