How do you get rid the of the check the backseat for kids notice and ding when you shut your truck off??

What Modman said, but heads up it will turn itself back on every so often (6 months or so if I remember correctly?) to make sure you still want it off. It’s to protect against people having kids but not remembering to re-enable the alert.

You don't need forscan for that... There is a setting in the touchscreen menu that will turn it off.

Center display. I would have to go out to my truck to recall specifically where... I actually wasn't looking for it but stumbled across it and thought "well this is cool!"

Got my truck last night...LOVE it
made some changes with forscan
all went fine
except.......tire pressures were showing normal
then i changed the rear from 75 down to 60 in the BdyCm-BCM plain English
Then it stopped showing the pressure
Do i have to drive it for a bit now to show the pressure again?

Yes, o he mine change after driving some. Should work. If not go back and check that the values held.

Not sure about the service thing. But, if you’re a Mac guy like me, this is what I’m gonna do for Forscan

I think it depends on what is getting serviced. I asked around previously and what I found anecdotally was that routine stuff did not end up with a reflash. If there is something requiring trouble-shooting it is possible they may reflash to re-establish the baseline settings.

I have been keeping a log of my changes and copies of the modified modules so if it does ever happen it will be easy to get back to where I want to be!

So, if we change something in the "plain english" mode, wouldn't or shouldn't you see the numeric change in the "as built" module? because mine does not. Such as, Bambi mode.... the code remained the same, even though I changed it in the "easy" module.

Can’t answer that….all of my changes have been in plain English and they all work as expected.

@Joe_Lee I made several changes in FORscan last night for the first time on my 22 including Bambi mode. Some were made in the as-built module and other's like the DPF % and OCR were done in plain English. If the below doesn't help, send me a PM.

For Bambi mode specifically, go into the BdyCM As-Built module. Look for 726-39-02. To enable Bambi mode you will need to change the fourth digit in the first string to 0 (726-39-02 xxx0 xxxx xx--). The two dashed lines at the end are the auto sum and FORscan will recalculate those automatically so you don't need to worry about them. One of the spreadsheets I ran across had a Bambi mode that enabled the truck to recall the last setting when the ignition is switched on and off. It required changing a few other digits, but I didn't attempt that one (yet).

In total, I made the following changes:
1. Bambi Mode (BdyCM As-Built)
2. Double Horn Honk when exiting (BdyCM As-Built)
3. Digital Temps Above Oil and Trans (IPC As-Built)
4. Disable Driver and Front Passenger Seatbelt Chimes (IPC As-Built)
5. Adjusted Turn Signal Flashes, 3 to 5, (SCCM As-Built)
6. Tire Pressure Front and Rear (BdyCM plain English)
7. Diesel Exhaust Filter Load Percentage (IPC plain English)
8. Auto Regen Control, this is required to enable the check box, (IPC plain English)
9. DPF Manual Regen, "Operator Controlled Regen" (PCM plain English)

The only change I attempted that didn't seem to work was the Tire Pressure Placard on the TPMS page. Everything else worked great.

I thought I read somewhere that the DPF manual regen was not available for a 2022.. am I wrong? Have you tired doing a manual regen since you changed it in Forscan?

so running into. bit of a issue.. i cant edit or write rather within the SCCM... everytime i try to adjust the values for blinker it tries to write and then gives me an error

Is the error the checksum error? If so it will automatically calculate and change the value value you. If not, what is the error you are getting?

I thought I read somewhere that the DPF manual regen was not available for a 2022.. am I wrong? Have you tired doing a manual regen since you changed it in Forscan?

I haven’t tried a manual regen yet, but my filter is currently at 70% and I believe the prompt is only available once I’m at 100%. Everything I’ve read says it’s available on the 22s.

Are you using a wifi obd2 reader? If so try using a wired one. Sounds like it is losing connection between computer and truck.

im using the wired adaptor - obdlink EX, no isues on any other modules. just the SCCM, which i find pretty weird. Iv tried a new profile and loading my original saved AS found files as well..

My second recommendation was going to be the profile. What specifically are you trying to change? I can try it on my truck tomorrow and see if I get the same error. Can't remember if I've done anything in SCCM yet.

Seems strange that it works in other modules just not that one. Only other idea I had would be trying to update your forscan application if there is a newer version.
