HOT! Ford Diesel Locking Fuel and DEF Caps

That is how everything locks up on my Z4. It is just a plastic pin/plunger, but when I hit the lock button the system locks up gas cap door, glove box and storage area.

Just looked at my daughters 2018 Honda
accord and I love the locking setup it has. I’m gonna see if I can buy that and repurpose it for the trucks.

That would require a more intricate lock cylinder. The design will end up being whatever can fit and makes sense to mass produce. It may be new caps, or it may end up being a box to go over the oem caps.

On a totally different note, is there room on the upper part between the fill caps for installation of a quick connect air coupler? I’d love to have mine hidden in that area instead of on the back of the truck.

I don’t know specifically, but in my experience it will crystallize on anything so you have to rinse it off upon contact.

Those degenerates know how to operate a crescent wrench for purposes other than a hammer? Lived in Seattle a long time ago when people were civil to each other. Go back regularly to see family and friends but they all live on Mercer Island, W Seattle, or Bellevue. Nothing could get me into Seattle now unless open carry was legalised.

Sounds good. Quit slackin and release this already. . We are all getting impatient to add more mods to our trucks. All joking aside, thanks for approaching this like an engineer and coming up with something that not only looks great but will hopefully solve an issue that ford should have done to begin with.
