If you plan on using the “rear door/patio” remember you gotta add 10’ to your campsite to use it. Most of the sites I’ve been in wouldn’t accommodate a rear patio. Just something to think about. I saw you mentioned the patio in a prior responseSo I'm back to looking at 5th wheelers. LOL

Anyone else on here have a side patio that can back me up?!
Which model is that? Really like the layout etc?Find one with a “side patio”

Thanks. We decided that we need the wall separating the garage. My friend pulls a travel trailer and rides his bike up a ramp and leaves his Harley in the bed but My Beautiful Harley Limited CVO weighs 900lbs and I have 50k into her. I don't want to drop it. Shes to pretty to gea battle scar quite yet.LOL. ? ? ?
That’s a fact. We rarely use ours. It’s one of those really cool things when you’re shopping, but I reality it’s not ideal. If you plan on using the “rear door/patio” remember you gotta add 10’ to your campsite to use it. Bought it new. Like everyone has mentioned, things have needed to be fixed. We love the layout and looked for 5 years before we found this. Can’t complain about anything except the wife helping me park it ?. We utilize every inch of it and have never needed more. Power went out at our campground, generator kept the AC on the entire trip. It’s “lower end” cheaper axles cheaper tires but I’m on top of maintenance.
Showed my wife that one and we are in tears. Because it’s true ?2 things you said I really like. Lol
(1) I've yet to find my wife in the mirrors while backing, not sure where she goes.
(2) the fact that you recognize maintenance is involved.
Omg ? “not sure where she goes” priceless!! ? ?2 things you said I really like. Lol

Whatever you get, I hope you end up with a toy hauler that is perfect for you! I would try to get a 5th wheel if possible, but they might put you over payload. Good luck!
That’s a nice floor plan, I had a hell of time figuring out how all of the options worked between the M and the G class. We got a 350G a few months ago and love it, really wanted an M class but I also wanted to stay under 40 feet and a have a 14-15ft garage so the 350G was it. Just wanted to try and clear this up and add that the 12 cu ft refrigerator in the G class is the rv style fridge that will run on propane or electric. They don’t really advertise it but you can order the G class with the residential style fridge and the king bed (at least you could a few months ago). When you do that you get a 16.4 cu ft electric only refrigerator and an inverter so it will run off of the battery. That’s what ours came with and it’s been awesome so far. When you’re looking for them on dealer websites or RV trader there’s really no way to know though unless you call and ask or see it in the photos or description. Now my other thought is this. If I get a 35' 5th wheel it would be shorter over all length, than gettin a 35' travel trailer because 3' sits in the bed of my truck. Correct. Plus doesn't a 5th wheel handle and maneuver better than a travel trailer.
i have the itch to get me a toy hauler more and more researching all of this.
Wifey looked up Grand Design and noticed the 328M that is dealer stock. They have the 328G for sale on the RV Trader sites not the M class. The M class has the 18 cubic ' fridge and the G class has the 12 cubic' one.
A king size bed is a must also for us. Our 3 little dogs snuggle with us every night. Well with her. I need to sprall out. I have a trashed Left Shoulder from my accident and I flip over on my side very hour. My bicep has a slight tear and I have a tear in my rotator cuff and my labrum is torn. They operated on it but they won't go back in. It needs to be replaced eventually.

I looked this one up. Looks like a really nice set up. ? ? ? ? ? ?We found something completely different. 12’ garage. 37’, all the bullshit everything else has and the “side patio”. Side patio is the shit.
It’s a bumper pull though. I wanted the extra space in my truck bed.
Stryker STG 3212.
it’s more comparable to the “impact” by Keystone which she liked. The Stryker was available and we made a deal.
mine is the same but worse - she invariably faces the wrong way ... so she disapears and calls left for right etc , I have to use the manly G.O.A.L. technique - thus avoiding the pre-camp setup sulks and the dreaded whatevers!Omg ? “not sure where she goes” priceless!! ? ?
Mine likes to wait too long to tell me to turn as if turning the wheel will magically move the entire camper over two feet in the next 6 inches and have it be parallel to the camp pad.mine is the same but worse - she invariably faces the wrong way ... so she disapears and calls left for right etc , I have to use the manly G.O.A.L. technique - thus avoiding the pre-camp setup sulks and the dreaded whatevers!![]()
My wife doesn’t understand that it takes about 10 feet before the trailer reacts.Mine likes to wait too long to tell me to turn as if turning the wheel will magically move the entire camper over two feet in the next 6 inches and have it be parallel to the camp pad.
