CAN I PULL A 5TH WHEEL LUXURY TOY HAULER SAFELY WITH MY TREMOR. CAN I ALSO ADD MY CARLI PINTOP 2.5 KIT

Should be fine, just be sure to factor air bags into the cost because of squat. Also avoid their front sway bar; you'll want the better sway control of the factory bar.
I tow a 351 Raptor with my 2020 F350 Platinum Tremor. #1 4.30 gears/7.3L #2 Air bags #3 3" lift on Camper (Tremor comes w/lift) Combined weight over 25K NO Complaints!

Finally someone who listened to the folks on the keystone forum. I still think he should have more truck

@Iron Man have you decided on a 5th wheel option? So many not sure how you pick but look as many as possible. RV shows help!!! Good luck and God bless. ????
We are now pretty certain that we will not go 5th wheel. I watched a Utube video of a DOT stop. It was staged for the video but it showed what highway patrol does on a safety inspection. I’m not going to risk having my 5er impounded. We now have narrowed it down to the Grand Design Momentum 31G or the 29G.
We looked up RV shows and we plan to hit one in August in the tri state area where we live, and maybe another in January in Florida.
I’m glad to have researched so much. I’m also so glad for the great advice of all the great dudes sharing their wisdom.

Also another thing I never mentioned. If your Gross Combined vehicle weight rating is over 26k, you’re legally suppose to have an RV endorsement on your license
Small nitpick on that for others who may be reading the thread and aren't in NY: only for states that have RV endorsements. As far as I know WA doesn't have that, for example.

I have a Grand Design 381M I pull with a SRW and a 2.5” ReadyLift leveling kit and 37s. It’s basically the same camper as the 351M just has a 15’ garage instead of the 11’. We haul a Polaris ranger in the garage regularly with no issues.

ton my 2008 2500 DMax. Don’t notice the camper back there. Pulled it 3 hours home on interstate and winding roads. I usually only pull short trips locally to the lake. 60 miles or so, for weekends. Hoping my Tremor 350 comes in by March 2022. Wanting to do a carli setup with air bags but not sure about the height for still being able to tow my camper.

Correct. Manufacturer advertised the hitch weight for my RV at 2180.....it was actually 2400lbs on delivery!
Yep. I had to back out of purchasing a Grand Design bumper pull. The spec weight was fine for my Suburban but the actual weight as equipped was way over. Fortunately I had an honest dealer who weighed it and flagged the issue for me.

Iron Man whats up dude! (y) 🍻🍻🍻

It is pretty simple: Generally speaking the number you will exceed first is Cargo Capacity.

your trucks curb weight plus your cargo capacity = the most your truck can weigh legally

Your Cargo capacity includes the hitch weight of your trailer.

if you weigh your truck ready to camp with all your passengers and add your expected loaded trailer hitch weight....that number cannot exceed your GVWR.

My F250 weighed 8600 LBS full of fuel passengers dog and gear....... GVWR 10800 -8600 = 2200 lbs That is how much I had left for hitch weight. Your hitch weight on a TT is roughly 15% of your TT Weight. on a 5er its 20%. That is fully loaded weight not empty weight!

Thats why if you plan to tow get the 350!

good luck my man!

How many people? Just you and the wife? Go smaller/lighter.

We have a Jayco Eagle H/T 264BHOK. They make a 5th wheel version. Plenty of room for me, wifey, 6 year old daughter and dog.

With something under 35' you'll be able to get into more spots and it will be easier to maneuver.

How does this tow? How much of a drop do you need on your hitch?

I just signed the paperwork on a 284BHOK today. Dealer is gonna let me keep it on their lot until Ford finally coughs up my truck. (Was supposed to already be built).

I don’t know if you saw my post on the campers thread but here are my numbers from the cat scales to give you an idea. The 7440lb one of just me and my four year old and a full tank of gas. The 24480lbs is with my wife, 9 year old twins, the loaded up toy hauler (empty tanks) golf cart in the garage and my German Shepard. I’m also using and Anderson ultimate hitch.

note the drive axle weight with my rig attached. The pullrite hitch I used on my Chevy would add another 200 ish pounds on.
What truck setup do you have to get 3800lb payload?!
