BMC fog lights. What lights? What colors? How do you like them?

From my perspective the most trouble free way of connecting lights on Dirt Guard is to set up the Upfitter switches wired @trmrzla, https://www.opentrailcreations.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopuoYcxBOQ1eqTXWoIaOHQ1k66J2RCdpNCLUA3UIlY9rrjIm9qP and @Cblaxx19 have solutions for connecting Upfitter Switches.
Once you have the Upfitter Switches wired then harness connection is quite simple. using the supplied harness for S2 ran wiring just behind the Dirt Guard zip tying harness where the front valance had been attached as it was removed to install Dirt Guard

As had the air box and passenger side battery removed to wire Upfitter Switches (to give me more access room wiring Upfitter Switches) it was an easy run up to connect to Upfitter Switch 1

Does the bar block the light from the S2’s?

Regarding BMC kit install being older than dirt and liking a lot of room to work - recommended first step
Put truck up on jack stands, remove front wheels, and make sure you use a 3 ton or better jack 😁
It was easy to remove fog lights their brackets and then installing the BMC brackets by having complete access to inner fender area not having to work around the front wheels and tires

Didn't experience issues that @SoFloTremor had. The brackets fit along with the "rubber baby bumpers" provided, guessing I was lucky. 🤪
The most annoying/time consuming part of install was adjusting the brackets and lights getting level alignment and correct fore/aft spacing
Used the OEM fog light harness to connect to S2's - BMC has a pig tail kit making this easy peasy
Squadron Pro wiring followed the path of the OEM fog light harness zip tying as necessary up to Upfitter Switch #2

It looks like it does from the angle of the picture but does not block light hope this picture gives an idea of beam pattern (taken before BMC kit was installed)

Thats the idea...make it easy!

I am in the process of swapping all my lights from Diode to Baja so I figured I'd update here. Went with S2 SAE and Squadron pro wide cornering in amber.

Just ordered the BMC fog light kit for my Diode Dynamics ss3 and ss2 2.0 combo. I also ordered the Hitch bar with the DD SS6. Asked a question via email and within 30 minutes had a response from Jake to give him a call to discuss my needs and 10 minutes later I had everything ordered. Jake did a great job covering options and explaining the wiring harness options. Look forward to receiving the BMC products soon and getting them installed as soon as I retire and get time to complete the install. BMC 20% discount helped my decision.

I made one of these brackets to add back support. The rubber deal is a preference thing. I didn't want to use double sided tape and plastic to hold it when the factory had done such a nice job... to each his own. I'm not saying the stuff they provided didn't work. Back to my bracket, i painted it all before install and the bumper corners are as stiff as they were when I get the truck.
Just to be clear, I love the look and now that it's done I'm super happy with it. If I didn't have a shop to work in and decades of aftermarket experience I'm sure I would've been totally fine. For anyone reading this, its not necessary to pull the front wheels if you have a way to get under the truck.

Wow, a lot of people went Baja. I like them, but I wanted the more blueish hue of the rigid so it matches my headlights better.

I went with the BMC Apex L kit, and Baja Designs XL Linkable with BMC no drill Bumper Brackets. Baja are some of the best and brightest lights on the market, why mess with success?

That exactly what I’m trying to do including the winch. What winch did you use to make the Yankum fairlead work.

GTS Winch kit with a Badland APEX 12k synthetic

If you don't have the Yankum Fairlead yet you can use my Affiliate Code and save a few bucks "SNORR702" at checkout.

Well thanks everyone for helping me spend money (and for some ways to save money with codes). Been a crazy week of call at work and figured great time to treat myself as only slept 3 hours a night 3 nights in a row before working 10-12hr each day after post call…

After some discussion with the guys at BMC I placed orders for my double deuce tremor. Will be going with s2 SAE clear next to amber squadron pros!!!!! Think it will compliment the balance of Amber and clear I have going on with OEM Amber clearance lights and Amber raptor grill lights with OEM fogs remaining.
