Having had both a 7.3 and a 6.7 I can say the difference is 100% preference and not financial. You said you’re deciding between two 7.3s so your preference has already been stated and I don’t see the point of trolling to convince you otherwise. Plenty of threads on the forum already beating that dead horse.

On the KR vs Lariat decision, I will say the KR can be quite polarizing, like a love it or hate it kind of thing. If you love it, go for it. If you don’t, remember if/when you go to sell it you will have to find buyers that love it. If you love it enough, you won’t care.

Lol... only true diesel fanboys can come into a thread and argue that paying $12-15k more on purchase in order to get $5-7k back on sale is a win. I applaud the commitment though.

Loved both of the 7.3's I had, also love my 6.7

To the OP... something to consider here is that if you really like the style of the King Ranch, you'll end up disappointed in a Lariat. Are the savings worth it if some day out in the future you find yourself at a stop light next to one and wishing you'd made a different choice?

I that's not you, then pocket the $7300 and never look back.

I buy 2 year old low mileage trucks. Let someone else take the hit. I drive a very functional truck for half of what people pay for new. Other than LED headlights my Lariat Ultimate has all the options I could ever need and a few I'll never use.
