2027 F350 KR Tremor gas VS Lariat Ultimate Tremor gas

Having had both a 7.3 and a 6.7 I can say the difference is 100% preference and not financial. You said you’re deciding between two 7.3s so your preference has already been stated and I don’t see the point of trolling to convince you otherwise. Plenty of threads on the forum already beating that dead horse.

On the KR vs Lariat decision, I will say the KR can be quite polarizing, like a love it or hate it kind of thing. If you love it, go for it. If you don’t, remember if/when you go to sell it you will have to find buyers that love it. If you love it enough, you won’t care.

To the OP... something to consider here is that if you really like the style of the King Ranch, you'll end up disappointed in a Lariat. Are the savings worth it if some day out in the future you find yourself at a stop light next to one and wishing you'd made a different choice?

I buy 2 year old low mileage trucks. Let someone else take the hit. I drive a very functional truck for half of what people pay for new. Other than LED headlights my Lariat Ultimate has all the options I could ever need and a few I'll never use.

The KR is a beautiful truck, and if I had got it, it would not do anymore for me than the ultimate lariat… but I saved enough to take the wife to Greece! My 2027 Ultimate was in Kansas headed for Az on Wednesday!
End of the day buy what you want! If you over think it you will end up with an XL Tremor!

Something to think about, lariat trim trucks no longer have real leather seats. That’s for higher trim packages now. The lariat comes with activx material, it’s like leather but it’s synthetic. I do not like leather seats, but I’m intrigued by activex. It’s suppose to wear better, and it feels like it holds you in the seat. Hard to describe.

My 26 platinum has active x.

We'll see if it degrades over time, but i am very impressed with it so far.

Nothing else is quite leather though.... and i think the only leathery left is the kr trim.

Very cool, I thought everything above the lariat had leather, I was wrong. I’ve heard good things about activex and it wearing better than leather.

I have active x as well, there was a lot of panic when it came out, but I see no issue with it so far. it's supposed to be more resistant to stains and damage. I sat in a 24 with leather and a 25 with active x back to back and I couldn't tell the difference. real leather takes a fair amount of effort and treatment to keep the leather pristine as it is porous and absorbs everything. leather also can not be decontaminated if something really soaks into it.

Unless I'm missing something, the only differences are
1. King Ranch premium Leather (very nice but the Lariat fake leather is nice as well)
2. Massaging seats (cool but I wouldn't miss it)
3. Heated back seat (don't care)
4. Power adjust steering wheel and foot pedals (My current truck has them, I adjusted them once)
5. Two tone paint (really nice)
6. Power tailgate (nice but not needed)
7. King Ranch badges and accents

I'd really be paying $7,300 for the one option I really want, two tone paint. Any opinions or advice on my dilemma? I just need a push.

My Lariat Ultimate has the heated back seat, power adjust steering wheel and foot pedals, and power tailgate. The only thing on that list that I’d want is the massaging seats. Massaging seat with the heated seat turned on after a long day working would be great. I personally don’t like the king ranch. I would skip and go to the platinum.

What year is that Lariat? I did learn the Lariat comes with the heated rear seat but I don't see any ordering options to get a power up and down tailgate or power memory pedals or steering wheel.
