2027 F350 KR Tremor gas VS Lariat Ultimate Tremor gas

Yes sir, just checked!

Autotrader's live nationwide inventory fluctuates continuously, and the platform does not publish a static, real-time total count comparing diesel versus gas Super Duties on a single page. However, based on market data and current inventory trends from 2020 to newer models, diesels significantly outnumber gas engines on the secondary market.

Why? Because people get rid of them! There's a reason why aftermarket companies still sell "Disaster Prevention Kits." 🤪
U really wanna have a pissing match over this bud? lol

I don’t hate either, I love both trucks. But you’re sorely mistaken if you think a 7.3 holds it’s value for squat! Must be that air you’re breathing ⬆️ there!

However I think both of us are wise enough to not spend 90k on a gas truck “KR”! Only reason a truck should be bought at this point is for work or write off purposes. They are all trash now days!! You know I have warned you about your transmission and have already had mine overhauled.

There are way more diesel for sale, simply because way more are sold! 🤦‍♂️ I can’t help what some dumbass decides to do with his hp.

As for your re-sale, my buddy has a ‘22 Iconic Silver 7.3 ultimate lariat with I believe 62k on it and It KBB’s for around 47k “I’ll get hard numbers if needed”! 🤣

Diesel guys get butt easier than sport bike guys. All that power to drive to yoga class and Whole Foods.

That’s why I have both! I have to take the dog out with an umbrella. It literally rains “butt” the moment i walk outside. Big ol’ raindrops full of it 🤪

Hey man. You can't go wrong with a Tremor.

I was talking shit to the robot. He started it.

i ain't selling my truck anytime soon anyway.

Been Eyeballing that next Gen valve body. Really considering installing it at the first fluid change.

If i could get it to start in 2nd gear , id be a lot happier with it.

Fucking silly that these trucks don't have granny. Well, they DO.. but it's programmed to start in granny from every stop. Mine's hitting 2nd gear like a hammer occasionally.

I manually force a 2nd gear start a lot... but it gets old having to do it that way.

This thread is a guy asking about trims. He already knows what powerplant is the best choice for him.

No pissing match here bud, just keeping the facts straight! 🍻

And for the record, the air up here is actually fantastic—a 9-inch lift and 40s will do that for you. 🤪

You kind of made my main point for me with the transmission, though. You warned me about mine, but you’ve already had to overhaul yours! That’s exactly what I'm talking about. The 10-speed is a lot happier handling the 7.3’s power than trying to wrestle 1,000+ lb-ft of torque from a diesel. The diesel literally shreds its own drivetrain.

As for your buddy’s ’22 Lariat 7.3 KBBing at $47k... what did he pay for it new? $68k? If he bought the diesel version, sure, it might KBB for $57k today, but he also would have paid $10k+ extra for the Power Stroke option on the original window sticker. The 'better resale value' of a diesel is a total wash when you factor in the massive upfront cost, plus years of buying DEF and paying for premium maintenance.

I definitely agree with you that 90k is insane for a new KR, and guys absolutely do dumb things with their horsepower. But that’s exactly why I stick to the Godzilla. My Double Deuce is built exactly how I want her, and I never have to lose sleep over a CP4 fuel pump sending metal shavings through my engine!

Hook 'em baby!

But….you’re transmission is trash. Don’t matter 7.3 or 6.7. They all are pre 8/22 unfortunately. You’re only waiting on more headaches before it’s actually fixed! And, oh yea……the 40’s Dnt help! 🤘🤘🤘

I lose about as much sleep over my cp4 as i do over my sunroof. .

Exactly ZERO.

I don't need a dpk. I'm not gong to put Def in my diesel tank, and i add the missing lubricant (thanks EPA) back in at every fillup.

I personally spoke with a Ford engineer on the subject. it's WAAAAY overblown, and has reached a ridiculous level of paranoia.

I also passes a high level of mechanical sympathy and common sense.

I haven't blown a Ford truck transmission yet, and I've been through a hell of a lot of Ford trucks.

Damn... mine was built 11/22.
