2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

Just got an email for my Platinum. Dealers are being told to remove multi contour seats for 300 bucks. This goes for KR and Platinum 23s. I’m not accepting a 100k truck without them. But this also might mean I won’t ever get one….

I ended up with two orders of identical trucks, both were submitted the same day. One I would not change. The second one was at the dealer I didn't want to go with so I played the game and removed and changes stuff based on constraints. I'm driving the one I did not make any changes to. It beat the other by two months.

Everyone gets caught up in the constraints lottery probably because they feel like they have some part or control over it. Then they try and get a better priority number when they don't know who else is ahead of them. Allocation and Ford's secret regional formulas seem to play a much bigger part of who gets what.

The second truck shipped today according to Ford.

No. 2 different things.

I can't confirm though, but I did hear something that if you do the max recline seats, the massaging seats are automatically removed, if your order is eligible for the contour seats.

This is exactly why I went lariat ultimate. Plan was a Platinum but I knew I'd get screwed and not get the seats. Not worth the extra $ for platy without the seats IMO.

I currently am in a 2022 F250 Lariat - Tremor Diesel.
The only reason I am considering getting the 2023 is for the 360 Camera Package as my current truck does not have this and also the pro trailer backup assist. Are these two features really worth the upgrade? The rest of the options for the 23 don't really matter to me? Any and all input welcomed.

Congratulations, I ordered my 2023 Tremor Lariat with the 6.7 high output diesel on 2/6/23. I have only gotten the order received email and the we are still working on it email. I don’t understand how people that ordered after me are getting their trucks before me….You are not the first person I have heard of getting everything done so quickly. What was the secret ? My Tremor rolled out of KTP on 06/07 and just arrived in Miami today. Now the next round of the waiting game. My 22 took over a month to get delivered to the dealer. I am hoping that is not the case this time.

I've also resisted the pressure to remove items from my build. One of the mods from Blue Oval Forums had this to say about modifying orders, "Removing options from a scheduled retail order doesn't result in the order's scheduled production date being pulled forward because there are fewer options and the build "simpler" to build. The revised or reduced specifications forces the order to face an updated commodity restraint compliance review, resulting in a later scheduled production week assignment."

Since commodity constraints vary week to week, removing something on your order may clear one hurdle this week, but it may not be an issue the next. Ultimately, if you want a truck fast, then your best bet is to order an XL or XLT... they seem to be getting built and delivered in around 8 weeks from order date. Otherwise, you're better off just waiting for the truck you want with the options you want considering how expensive (or in some cases impossible) the options are to add afterwards.

Does anyone know if the order bank is closed for ordering a Lariat Tremor? i have had a Platinum on order since October 28th and am losing faith that I will ever get it. My dealer seems to think that it will get built...but, I don't have much have in them either. I haven't seen anything other the "low supply Dear John" letters. I have contacted Ford twice and they said their are no constraints on the order, but it hasn't been scheduled. I will say this is getting pretty disappointing.

My dealer seems to think that it will get built...but, I don't have much have in them either. I haven't seen anything other the "low supply Dear John" letters. I have contacted Ford twice and they said their are no constraints on the order, but it hasn't been scheduled. I will say this is getting pretty disappointing.

Check out the videos I just posted. I believe Tremor is not available anymore, but can still order a Lariat. Lots of options are constrained, and they closed off the HO 6.7l a while.

Yeah, figured it would give some insight to @Ama481 if they decided to place an order. Based on other sites, it seems like pretty base model XL/XLTs are what you can order and expect a reasonable chance of it getting built at this point.

Unfortunately...I predict this week's updates will be more disappointing. It really is a shame that a multi-billion dollar company can't see to predict supply issues that seem to have occurred yearly.

I believe the order bank is closed for all 23MY trims have been closed since May 9th. I place a last minute lariat ultimate tremor order April 27th and the only thing I have received is the order confirmation email. The last update as per long McArthur youtube channel was limited was exhausted and KR and Platinum is limited scheduling for weeks of the 12th and 26th of June.
