2023 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build dates from Ford...

I feel bad for all of the people who ordered a 23 and may not get one.
Speaking with Ford corporate customer service last week they told me that if your order was accepted by Ford before the date that the order banks closed then you will be receiving your truck.

That sounds good... But I'd wager that won't be the case. There were a lot of orders from 22 that got rolled into a 23. Which I guess, technically, is true... They'll receive their truck but after how many years/months?

People are getting their orders for the 23‘s they ordered everyday. Only a very very small fraction of folks that ordered a Tremor actually are on this forum. And 2023 is different from 2022, that was in the middle of a major production change.

My Tremor rolled out of KTP on 06/07 and just arrived in Miami today. Now the next round of the waiting game. My 22 took over a month to get delivered to the dealer. I am hoping that is not the case this time.
how did you track that? mine should be in Miami now as well. We might get them at the same time.

They said that for 2022's also...yet...

my 22 was never built as far as I know...

I ordered my 23 from a different dealer so I am sure I am going to have to fight for the $5000 incentive from Ford. I dont see the dealer I ordered my 23 from going above and beyond to help me on that avenue.

For everyone waiting for their 23, I hope you're right...

I also talked with Ford last week and they stated they same thing. They said if the order was accepted it would be built, but I don't have any faith in that based on seeing that they are expected stop building MY23s at the end of October and begin building MY24s right after that. They seem to continually shift scheduled build dates and haven't even scheduled a large number of "accepted" orders. I believe people are starting to see build dates towards the end of August already.

Just got an email for my Platinum. Dealers are being told to remove multi contour seats for 300 bucks. This goes for KR and Platinum 23s. I’m not accepting a 100k truck without them. But this also might mean I won’t ever get one….
I got the same from Savannah at Granger. I am with you and did not change anything. I have all of the most evil options on my Platinum Tremor order including Pro Upfitter, sun roof, max recline seats, 5th wheel prep, spray in liner, etc. I doubt deleting the multicountor seats will help a lot. I am not in a hurry and accept the fact that the truck that I ordered on Nov 3rd might never get built. If it does not, Ford should be embarrassed that they can't build a $106k high margin truck for a willing cash buyer.

That is disappointing that someone at Ford's customer service would make such a statement. Their track record the last couple of years doesn't support that all accepted orders will be made. Plus, dealers are able to accept more orders than they have allocation, so there may be many that were submitted that will not be built for that reason alone.

I think the more accurate statement is that if Ford issues a VIN then the order will be built. I don't recall hearing of anyone who had a VIN that ultimately didn't get their order built.

I hope having a VIN# will guarantee my order is built. I've had one since March and been pushed back 5x to Aug 28th. Time will tell

I was lucky enough to get a VIN today, what can I expect next?
I suggest going to this link where you can register and input your vin. This will give you insight on how your truck is progressing through production. At some point, you can also pull the window sticker as well as register your truck in the Ford Pass app. Once it is built, the Ford Pass app will show you the location of your truck, typically updated every time the vehicle is started.

You should get an email from Ford with a build date, and once you reach that date (assuming it hasn't gotten pushed back like others have experienced), production typically takes a week, maybe a few days longer if they have to send it off site for things like the spray-in bedliner, wheel well liners, etc...

Thanks for the insight, though it appears to give me an error when I put in the VIN…

Are you using android? I could never get it to work on my galaxy. Then I tried my wife's iPhone and it worked. Weird. I went months before I tried this. Chalked it up to not being in system but it was my android. Dunno if everyone experiences this.

I was using my iPad, same “Error, processing your request” on iPhone too.

I don't see anything at all on the FordPass app. Mine shows in transit but i see nothing on the app.

Dealer view versus Ford Ordering Tracking Website question.

According to the online tracker, my delivery is currently showing 6/5-6/20. It moves out a couple of times per week.

According to the dealer, the truck is showing a delivery of today or tomorrow, 6/13-14. Should I believe it?

Question: what can dealers actually see? I’ve heard that they have no idea what is coming in or when. I’ve also heard they know exactly what and when. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks!
