Just went on a nice drive and had a chance to play around with all the features, and there are many!

Pro's so far:

I'm pleasantly surprised by how quiet the cabin is. With the sunroof closed it is very quiet and you can barely hear the engine even under acceleration. For a 1 ton truck (this is my first) I was expecting a more jarring ride. The truck is very smooth and holds the road extremely well. I really don't notice the stiff suspension until the road gets rough and even then it's not terrible. I live on a gravel road and was expecting a lot more bouncing around.

Another really nice surprise is how luxurious and upscale the interior is in person. The leather seats are nice and soft and they provide plenty of support. All the buttons, knobs and switches are easily accessible and most importantly easy to operate. My truck is equipped with Lariat Ultimate Package so It will take me awhile to discover all the features but so far the auto hi-beams, adaptive cruise, heads up display and lane keep assist are really nice to have. If the Lariat is this upscale I can only imagine how nice the upper trim levels will be.

Exterior and interior looks are much nicer in person. I really like the look of the front end. The truck has a really nice bold presence to it. It looks like a heavy duty truck. I'm not as in love with the back end but it's not terrible. I think the rear tail lights could have been incorporated a little bit better and they could be a little more contoured. I like the rear bumper and side steps. My truck came with the tail gate ladder and I doubt I will ever use it. Fit and finish is good, I had some concerns given the current state of the auto industry. The paint, chrome and trim are all flawless and all the body panel gaps look uniform.

The 7.3L has plenty of get up and go and the transmission shifts are smooth. I reset the trip computer as soon as I drove it off the lot and so far I am averaging 16.7 mpg's with a mix of country roads and mild traffic. That's better than my 6.0 chevy would get and this thing isn't close to being broken in yet.

The negatives (I'm really nit picking here)

I wish the the entire dash was the soft rubberized material. There is still quite a bit of hard plastic. Additionally, on the upper part of the door panels there is a fabric type material. It doesn't look bad but it would have been nice if that was leather to match the seats.

The headlights are very bright but I wish they were LED, the same is true for the tail lights. In 2023 all lighting should be LED. I think Ford dropped the ball here.

I honestly can't think of anything else yet. This is the by far the nicest truck I've ever owned and I'm a proud owner. I'll try and get some pictures loaded tomorrow.

I hope you get yours soon. I was shocked to get the call this morning. The owner of my dealership got involved and made sure my truck was on the next delivery truck. I think I would still be waiting had he not done that.

Congratulations on your new ride. When you post pics could you include one of the payload capacity sounds like my Lariat Ultimate Tremor 7.3L is the same specs as yours. Once again congrats and enjoy.

A few more really nice features I was not expecting.

The owners manual is electronic and you can select from the list and watch the how to videos right on the 12" display. It sure does make it convenient if you're trying to figure something out on the fly! I also discovered the memory seat function will also store the mirror positions, steering and foot pedals. I'm 6'1" and my wife is barely 5' tall so this is really nice. Each key fob can also be adjusted to each drivers positions which negates having to hit the memory button when entering the truck. The power floor boards are really nice too. They deploy as you're approaching the vehicle and stow as soon as you close the door. Floor boards are a must have on this truck. Even for my long legs they make getting in and out easy.

Not only is this by far the nicest truck I've ever owned, but it is also the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Far exceeding my expectations!

I wanted a Tremor but was told they don't recommend putting plows on them for whatever reason. I know it's a Tremor forum but honestly this is the best Ford SD truck forum that I found to get information. The first thing I'm changing on the truck are the rims and tires. I would like to move up to at least 35's and I think they'll fit on these rims. If not I'll be buying new rims in and tires in a few weeks. I like the Durtracs on the Tremor and I know those are good tires in the snow so I may go with them. I don't think BF Goodrich makes a 285/75R18 Ko2. Those are what I had on the Chevy and I loved them. I'm hoping you all let me stick around

Check the Mickey T 305’s too, I think they work pretty well and should do good on snow. Enjoy the new toy.

Nice. One of the main reasons I ordered the '23 SD was for the looks of the front end. Oddly enough, the lower trims still keep the older style front end or very similar to it. My 2017 SD is still doing fine. I didn't really "need" a new truck, but I really liked the new styling inside and out. Toss in a few other new features and upgrades and I decided it was time to let someone else enjoy the '17 for a while. Though at this point, I'm not sure if it'll get built before I walk and order a '24. Reading on here, it doesn't seem likely. The dealer told me it would probably be two months or so, but I'm sitting at 40 days and all I have is an "Order Accepted".
